Happy belated birthday, Chaya!!

I went out with friends yesterday, trying not to think the financial situation here...

I was wearing Cuir de Lancome and it was so refined and beautiful, I decided to wear it again today.

Have a nice day, all!

First of all HAPPY BELATED TO CHAYA!! It seems it finally startig to melt some snow up north too. Kind of depressing when I think about how much longer spring has come at Eirik's parents, but at least we're slowly getting there too.Felt like a lush floral today, and Fracas is perfect that way. Have a nice day everyone!

Thanks, Dora !
Thanks, everyone- for your sweet wishes !

Most lovely , were the handwritten cards from my dearests.
And being out of doors, enjoying the warmth...
[It was SO hot, I had to spray Etro Anice all over myself to calm my body down for sleep- over 90 !]

Today, we ready our loins for NYC !
Le Temps D'une Fete, I think .
Big kisses and healing hopes for my friends....

(tee hee! Hope it helped!! Who's TW??)

Spent a couple of hours yesterday afternoon turning a friend into a perfume-junkie and so got to visit some neglected lovelies. As a result, today I'm swimming in....

Jasmine Imperiale

It never fails to amaze...although we are pretty much the same body type and vintage (Americanized Northern European d'une age certaine) stuffs smells TOTALLY different on each of us. She did, however, walk off with Maja and Roses and More!!

Agent Provocateur Eau Emotionelle for me - a new purchase! I really liked this, as I was worried (based on some reviews) that it might be too subtle but it's the perfect light, powdery rose for work

Hello everyone!

I'm in Keiko Mecheri's gorgeous and decadent Loukhoum Parfum du Soir today...honestly, how is a person supposed to decide between her luscious Loukhoums? I suppose she didn't want us to choose just one, and one of each is so tempting...sigh. Thank goodness they're not fattening.

Y'all have a fabulous day!

Chanel #5 Eau Premiere for this lovely spring day. The wind has finally subsided and the allergies are calmed. I can fully enjoy this little beauty as I go about my workaday.
Have a great day everyone.

My brother arrived, safe & sound; looking quite handsome, if I do say so myself! The visiting nurse came this morning & took care of my bandage, so I'm good to go. Robbie & I walked around for awhile. He's watching the Masters on ESPN & I'm getting ready to crash.

My sister & I have been on the phone for the last hour talking about Sniffa (we wanna be there!) and Dawn Spencer Hurwitz perfumes we love (and want!). I'm big on the punctuation today, I see. Better than the cussin' the other day, I suppose.

Anywho, as a result of our chit chat, I am wearing DSH's Parfum de Luxe edp, from one of her mini collections. The notes are amazing (as usual for Dawn). From the DSH website: "Composition*
Top notes: Bergamot, Clary Sage, Neroli, Petitgrain, Violet
Middle notes: Bulgarian Rose Absolute, Centifolia Rose Absolute, Chinese Geranium, Honey, Orris, Tuberosa, Ylang-Ylang
Base notes: Amber, Benzoin, Brown Oakmoss, Labdanum, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Tobacco Absolute, Vanilla"

See what I mean? Stunning!

MANY HAPPY BELATED RETURNS TO CHAYA!!!

I am sorry I missed the day ... please accept some scented love and hugs from the British Isles

I wore Carthusia Mediterraneo today, in the sunshine.

Latterly sprayed from a brand new bottle of First -- has this mama changed?! There's something a bit acrid in the drydown: rather like narcissi when they are getting old. Anyone heard of a reformulating of First?
Antaeusintheair, what a stunning image. And so appropriate, too. No 19 is one of my favs.

On this quite cool spring day I'm wearing Miller Harris's Noix de Tubéreuse.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Take care, everybody!

Late posting, wore Sonoma Scent Studio Winter Woods.
this morning was vintage Shalimar EDT... (very nice, but I do see why some consider it "old fashioned") ... this afternoon another spritz of the Shalimar, and this evening, Guerlain Vetiver EDT (I've the modern and the vintage... the modern smells "like" the vintage but is lighter green. the vintage has more oomph... it's "darker" if that happens to make sense. Both I love, the vintage definitely reminds me of the 80's and hotel hallways during convention season! LOL)

(So this means that Mike, Dennard, and m'self are scent twins! Woohoo.)

More appreciation for the lovely Klimt image posted by Antaeusintheair. What a beauty!

I wore PR Calandre today.

Reine...90S!!! WHERE in SC are you - it barely hit 70 here today!! (Myrtle Beach area).

KBE THANK you SO much for the musical treats you offer. After Jose had to go and join the nearly 10 MILLION checking out Bill Withers!!

Petra - luvvin that photographic image of Avignon! Spot on!!

Spending the evening in peonies...Histoire des Parfums Vert Pivoine and Ineke's Chemical Bonding and maybe a spritz of Serena's Peonies.

I am not an alcoholic for nothing - it it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing!!

After sampling the new Voyage d'Hermes (I liked it) I was craving some dirty wood when I got home so a strange, but pleasing layering pair for the evening: YSL M7 and Bal a Versailles. The rich and dark oud and vetiver from M7 mixes nicely with the floral-amber and musky civet skank of Bal. Really lovely on a cool night.

Everyone smells grand today. I hope your days were fragrant and fun.
