Prada Milano Infusion d´Homme vs Prada Amber

I much prefer Infusion D'Homme despite me sampling it less than I did with Amber. Prada Amber is just an overly soapy and feminine fragrance marketed to men. The purple juice doesn't help much and I don't detect much of any amber in it at all. To me, it comes across as a very expensive feminine hotel soap that's VERY strong.
Infusion was a better soap smell as far as I'm concerned.

Well said. And I agree. But neither are good candidates for a 'blind buy'.

Hi, Thanks for the answers. It will not be a blind buy because I know and I love Infusion d'Homme.The problem is Prada Amber because (i never smell...) but I have read very mixed reviews on this fragrance.

Prada Amber is a love it or hate it scent. IdH you may like or feel indifferent to. Both are soapy, but Amber is truly unique and really quite sensuous.

Imo, Amber is far far better.

I had a few minis of the Amber and swapped them off to a woman! And I've got the Infusion on my swap list now because it just doesn't provide any real olfactory pleasure. It's "nice."

Infusion would be a safer buy than Amber. There's something weird to my nose with Prada Amber that I just cant get past. Infusion is smooth, clean and safe.

I prefer IdH. Amber smelled more like pure soap whereas IdH smelled like a conglomerate of citrus and florals which created a soapy accord.

They're both great. Amber is most barbershop-esque and Infusion is soapy (but smells like a classy expensive soap). I wore both and enjoyed them!

Thanks for your opinion! On my skin Infusion has a good sillage and the longevity is above average! I will go with Infusion d´Homme this spring-summer time!! Ciao

Prada Amber is my personal favorite , ! Infusion is totaly diffrent scent wich I do not like to much , it is clean scent but for me only that is + , everything else is on Amber side ..

I bought Infusion d'Homme blind and I don't regret it. Prada Amber I think I sampled last month in a store, but didn't care for it.

I know an older woman who wears Infusion d'Homme and it smells great on her. I actually don't really like the scent though as it always reminds me of sweaty guys who wore too much of it when I used to work on a yacht. I just traded for a bottle of Amber which I'm going to re-visit as I can't remember what it was like.

Infusion is the best "soapy clean" smelling frag I've tried. Amber reminded me of Le Male initially (not necessarily a bad thing to me) but dried to a powdery/leather mess that I did not enjoy at all.
