Niche-Advice

Going on a holiday this summer with my GF.

Wanted a niche(because of exclusivity) under $200! Something sensual, long lasting and masculine.
Current niche possessions: PDN New York, Baladin, PDN pour homme and Creed BDP....

Any recommendations would be appreciated?

Acqua di Biella C'a Luna

Millesime Imperial By Creed, great in warm weather

Musc Ravageur works pretty well in hot weather. I wore it in Vietnam (humid, 30-35C)

MKK perhaps? Or perhaps then PdN Cologne Sologne.

You already killed so many people here. Don't you know that ohhmygod? :P

I prefer scents which are fresh and not so sweet or thick or too vanille or too cinnamon or too musky for hot weather.

L'Artisant Parfumeur Tea for Two.

CdG Leaves series: Tea

Amouage Lyric for Men

CdG Laurel

I don't really know. It would never occur to me to wear it during the day - more of an evening / night fragrance. I think it is less cloying than BdP, though, which can get pretty cloying on me. For more general purpose Acier Aluminium or Millesime Imerial would work better, but I get not very much longevity from MI.

What about Acqua di Parma Colonia? In my opinion, it's the perfect warm (hot) weather fragrance. I have to admit, though, I just got it so I'm still kind of in the "honeymoon" phase with it. My judgement might be skewed.

Musc Ravageur is a really good choice

i live in brasil and think it's perfect, but it's not a niche scent on my opinion.

Seems like you like lavender...

Maybe Oxford and Cambridge.. it's old school, yet not dated, and works remarkably well in the heat for a lavender fragrance, due to its cool peppermint opening and oakmoss (as opposed to heavy musk) base.

The niche frags I consider in warm weather (during the day) are Baime and Etra by Etro, though there are many non-niche that I would also consider, including "super cheapo" Cuba Green.

Creed Santal Imperial.

Creed Royal Delight.

Otherwise, sample first and don't buy on the first sniff. Wait for the drydown.

Yes, it's absolutely superb for summer. A truly classic and beautifully rendered fragrance.

Lonestar Memories and L'Air du Desert Marocain by Tauer.
They are both 100$ for a bottle (50ml, the only size I found).
Also try the Nasomatto perfums. They are all 30 ml bottles with extraits. Also, not very expensive, for an extrait that is.
You can try those fragrances if you want something different from Creed (they are kinda mass-produced, you know, everyone that loves fragrances must have Creed).
The fragrances I told you to try are better then Creed.
OK, one final suggestion, if you still want creed:
MI and Bois du Portugal are the best Creed fragrances, along with GIT, Himalaya and Vinatage Tabarome.

Why do I always seem to be the only one who mentions MKK's Lumiere Noire pour Homme? Totally versatile, incredible scent for any weather. Works just as well with a t-shirt and jeans during a hot days as it does for a night out.

Can't help it..I'll give one more vote for MR!!! It's just sooo sexy! But...beware! Keep the bottle locked away from your GF..it's addictive!
I'd give L'air du desert another vote too...but I don't know how it works in hot weather..That stuff is one of my big loves, but it's really strong.
And a sexy and fresh (but spicy)frag: Reflection for men by Amouage...I wear it myself.
