Two days ago I went to one of the local retailer to buy a shirt and happened to walk past the fragrance counters. I saw a tester bottle of Jaipur Homme and wanted to try it as I've never been able to test the EDT version. (I've got the EDP which is not sold here.)
When I looked properly, I saw that the tester bottle was the EDP and immediately started looking for a boxed one. There was none - only EDT. I questioned the SA why they'd have a tester EDP if they don't stock it - he was unable to tell me. I looked at the tester bottle, saw that it was about 100% full and wanted to know if I could buy it. He was keen, saying that he'd have to scan the EDT for the sale to go through. I asked him to keep it - I'd pick it up the following day.
He remembered me yesterday and immediately went to fetch the tester. He told me that he had a chat with his sales rep who said that I could have the tester bottle IN ADDITION TO the NIB EDT, as their stock would show a surplus if they kept the EDT on shelf!!!
How's that for a bargain...and for honesty and integrity from the SA (who could have kept the EDT for himself!)
Now I've got a 99% full 100ml EDP for the refillable bottle I own, and a NIB 100ml EDT
