I think these two has some similarities. I have always been a fan of Egoiste, but Costes is also very nice. What do you think? Which one do you prefer?

Costes what?! Égoïste all the way!

Egoiste is nice and all (and I own both), but I prefer Costes and think it's a better scent. (I see I'm the only one that thinks so )

I see no comparison in these at all. I really do not like Costes but I rather see it's similarities to scents like CdG White not the Chanel.

Now, Egoiste, I adore.

I don't see a similarity. I like Egoiste better - or better yet, Egoiste Concentree.

Costes is closer to the original CdG Parfum (not as much of that soapy/candlestick quality as the CdG). When I was looking for an Egoiste type of frag I settled on Python by Trussardi (the "women's one), because I found Egoiste to be too "rough" and somewhat "synthetic." Python starts off with a harsh medicinal accord but then settles down really nicely, with prominent chocolate and sandalwood notes.

I worship Olivia Giacobetti, but Costes is rather dull. Égoïste is magnificent. They share little in common.
