Calling all perfume detectives!

I'm hoping someone can ID a fragrance I owned in high school. The bottle was a frosted-glass female nude torso with the sprayer at the bottom (instead of where the head should be, like the Gaultier bottles). It stood on a cheap-looking black plastic base with a hole for the sprayer. I don't remember what it smelled like -- it must have been a gift and the bottle was so tacky that I was a little afraid to actually sniff it ... and it eventually got thrown away during some move or other.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? This is just for fun -- I have no desire to buy this again, I'm just curious about what it was!

That sounds like Sculptura by Jovan.

Does this look familiar?

Yes! Thanks, that's the line. Mine was the headless, limbless model in the middle:

Well, now I know for sure I didn't toss any amazing juice. And dang, apparently the bottles bring reasonably big bucks now.

You're welcome!

I actually think the bottle is cool, especially the small gold one which I assume is the perfume. I don't remember ever seeing it when it was in production, but I've been curious about it more recently. You don't remember anything about the fragrance itself?

I'm sorry, I really don't remember anything about the fragrance at all. I'm not sure I ever actually tried it!

For years, every time I've walked by a Gaultier counter I was reminded of that bottle and it drove me crazy trying to remember what it was ...

Mysticknot - I see them come up every now and then on the eBay (ha - that's my Dad talking!) but they're often missing their bases, and usually most of the juice is gone so I thought that could possibly mean that it was pretty nice - people used it up when they had it, was my guess. But I've also wondered - do you think having it stored up-side down in the base like that could somehow have resulted in it leaking....? That doesn't make much sense now that I see it in print, but I'm compelled to test my theory on others.

Btw, There are two right now at quirkyfinds.com - have you ever browsed her stuff? She's has quite an extensive collection of nice vintage fumes, some pretty scarce! Anyway, there's the 2nd one from the left, but it's almost empty, for $25, and then the tall one on the right - it's 40% full but missing its base (naturally!) for $35....just in case you wanted to pursue it!
