I was just checking out the He Wood fragrance from DSquared2 when I noticed that there are some new flankers that are due to be released this year:
1. Crystal Creek Wood
The fragrance was developed by perfumers Daphne Bugey and Alberto Morillas.
An essence capturing a sparkling accord of crysytal notes, creek notes and woody notes.
Top Notes: hawthorn, jasmine petals, musk.
Heart Notes: crystalline watery accord, violet leaves, violet.
Base Notes: white wood, sandalwood, vegetal amber, vetiver.
2. Ocean Wet Wood
An essence capturing a distinctive accord of ocean notes, wet notes and woody notes.
Top Notes: transparent sea accord, ambergris, artemisia.
Heart Notes: musk, violet leaves, violet.
Base Notes: cedar wood, patchouli wood, tonka bean, vetiver.
3. Velvet Forest Wood
DSquared2 introduces the first of the SheWood Super Collection fragrances, Velvet Forest Wood, the female counterpart to Rocky Mountain Wood.
Inspired by the Canadian Velvet forests, the fragrance is an expression of force & vigour.
Wood against the backdrop of rare purity.
Top Notes: Galbanum, Pine Needle, Leaves Accord.
Heart Notes: Musc, Violet Leaves, Violet Wood.
Base Notes: Vetiver, Vegetal Amber, Patchouli.
Since I'm not a very big fan of aquatics, I think it's Velvet Forest Wood that seems more interesting to me: Musky floral with a woody/sweet base.
