Good news for my basenotes friends

I know a few of you have been following our pregnancy, so I thought I would share the news.
My son Joseph Robert deCillis was born Wednesday, April 21st at 1:49 p.m. EST. He was 7 weeks premature, so we're going to spending quite a bit of time at the hospital, but baby and momma are doing well. My wife and I would like to extend a huge thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes during the past few months, and I promise to start training his little nose as soon as we can. SOTD during delivery you might ask? Hermes Hiris - The drydown is about as close to the smell of newborn baby as I have yet to encounter, but nothing and I mean nothing, beats the scent of skin fresh to the world wafting off of the most beautiful creation you have ever laid eyes on. I will keep everyone updated as to when we get home, and will post some pictures soon.

How wonderful! Congratulations for the wonderful new! DO be careful, however, on wearing perfume near a newborn. Newborns (as most mammal young) bond with parents through scent.

That is why babies smell so wonderful to us! (Anyone with a new kitten or puppy knows this, too.)

I was touched deeply when i read your post, because it recalled my own difficult pregnacy and primery delivery of my twins boy(he stayed in the hospital for a month for a serious congenital heart problem) and girl.But i recall too a very pleasant memory-because i was excausted by traveling to Athens and back every day for feeding both, i could not even go out shoping, and my friends SAs from the department store of the town -I have been regular- delivered for me samples and orders( i was wearing TRUSSARDI SKIN then) in my house. Very sweet...Congrats every bode to you and the brave baby-be strong and nice-smelling
