How to properly dispose of fragrance? (i.e. Bogart Pour Homme)

This fragrance makes me sick. It literally induces a gag reflex almost, it's way too sweet. Synthetic bomb. Worse than AMEN and Le Male combined. No joke.

I have a full 3.3 oz bottle. I was foolish enough to blind buy (couldn't find it anywhere).

I want to get rid of it. But throwing in the dumpster would be bad because it will likely get crushed, and cause some kind of atomic reaction (it's so strong and sweet, it's sickening).

I wouldn't want to dump it down my sink (probably stink the whole house).

Any ideas? This is the only fragrance I considered just mutilating/throwing out. I guess I want it to be environmentally safe and memorable

Hey dude, give it away, somebody is bound to like it.

There would be nothing wrong with throwing it in the garbage if that's what you want to do.

The thing is, shipping and packaging materials for this thing would cost just as much as I paid for this atomic monster ($16).

I just gave it to my friend and told him to do whatever he wants with it.

You can just contact BNers who have a swap list and ask if they want it, if you see something on their list that you want.

Potential uses:

Outdoor pesticide
Pepper spray alternative
gift to someone you really don't care for (and don't spend much if any time in close proximity to!)
slingshot projectile
halloween treat
molotov cocktail

alternatively, you could send it to the "Will it blend?" guy from Youtube. That'd be awesome.

lol@ slingshot projectile! I would never throw a fragrance away. Even if I use it as a gym fragrance or just give it away. I mean, anything I spend money on deserves to be appreciated by SOMEONE. I would give it to someone I know, or just leave it in a public place...maybe even a fragrance store, knowing SOMEONE would snatch it up...

I had to look up the Will it Blend guy. Awesome suggestion!

If you are in the USA, shipping and packaging will cost 1/3 of that. You can get boxes and foam popcorn at no charge. Just ask a shop keeper politely. I do this all the time.

Guarenteed it will be sold on the marketplace. Guarenteed.

@ G Man

I hated this one too & yeah, sadly it is quite potent.
After giving it a few tries, I sold it to an unsuspecting buyer on ebay for a song.

The perfect place for your bottle could've been the sea bed ;-)

I have an air and water tight storage compound located at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, which is where I chuck all the bottles of Old Spice I come across. Welcome to use that if you want.
