On April 23rd the 2010 Fifi awards were announced at the beautiful Mandarine Hotel in New York City.

However, I wanted to share with you the fact that two members of the basenotes community, Michael Davis & Mark David Boberick placed in the top 5 with articles published in Sniffapalooza Magazine. http://www.sniffapaloozamagazine.com/ Their articles can viewed here.
I also wanted to mention that unlike Elle & Allure (who also entered this category) Sniffapalooza Magazine is a privately funded site, paid for by one individual. There is no staff, only volunteers. Raphaella Barkley assembles the entire magazine by herself. She is my friend and sincerely loves fragrance. The magazine is a labor of love. Raphaella & I hope you enjoy it.
