How many different scents do you change to in a day? Examples?

Hi! My first post here. I'd love to hear about anyone else changing what scent they wear throughout the day, evening, and bedtime! My mood changes so I switch between trying samples and wearing several different scents.

Up to three times a day .

Three times, usually. Maybe four. Sometimes I think that may be too much , but apparently I'm not alone.

The fragrances are often related. For example Habit Rouge, Shalimar Eau Legere, and then Shalimar edc. Or maybe they all share a similar note, like orris. I often end the day with an edc, or an edt without much sillage or longevity.

Sometimes I have "odd" days when I'm sampling fragrances. I get impatient, so I start out wearing unrelated scents on either arm.

It depends on if I'm at home or at work

If I'm at home usually three times - one for morning, one for midday and another in the evening/night

However if I'm at work it'll usually be twice - once in the morning and I'll reapply (if needed) with the same bottles, then I change in the evening.

Usually two times. One for work, then another (often similar note or similar feel) in the evening. Sometimes three times on the weekends, depending on what I am doing.

Two, occasionally three.

SotD
SotE (sometimes)
Pour un Homme before bed

It seems to me that I can usually still smell at least a trace of my morning fragrance in the evening, so I don't usually add anything else because I don't want them to clash. Sometimes I'll add another splash of the morning frag, though.

Ditto for me!

No more than two. I either have the same on all day, or use one for morning and one if I go out at night.

Usually one daytime scent, and a scented bath oil in the evening. And sometimes a sleep scent that's compatible with the bath oil.

Minimum two in a day but recently it's been more. Yesterday, I wore five...actually wore them. It was a long day.

Same here. I like my fumes to last the whole day. I only have a couple that don't. Sometimes I'll wear something to bed, so.... 1 or 2.

Bienvenue, Whitelace..!

Two for me ... SotD and SotE,
I usually re-apply my SotE right
before bedtime.

I'm envious of those whose skin/chemistry allows scents to last so long on them!
No matter how much I moisturize, most perfumes fade in an hour or two. But, I work at home so this enables me to reapply throughout the day, or change often for example --

I have my SOTC (scent of the coffee -- drink coffee & watch the news in bed with one little spritz on my hand. Usually Hiris.)
after shower SOTD
then SOTA (late afternoon--usually this time of year something green like Vent vert or Jolie Madame, for 3 mile walk with my dog)
then shower again and SOtE
then SOTB (scent of the bed, maybe same as SOTE--but if that has worn off I may try a sample on my hand to contemplate while I'm reading)

Oh dear, now I'm exposed as a fickle scent hog...

usually just one for me, my scents general last all day. If I'm ssampling something and it fades, I might try another later in the day. once in a blue moon I'll put on Molinard Vanille to sleep in.

If it's something I don't know inside out I'll usually wear it 'til it's done. I'm usually the last out of the cinema, too

I love really getting to know a new perfume. You want to know everything about it and it's all new and enchanting; the brittle top notes, the way it opens up and warms, the cosy, basenotey stage which can light up as the skin changes temperature.

Of course, I do have my dumb scent slut days when I just want to spray the heck out of something, find an excuse to have a shower, and move on to the next!

I usually wear two different fragrances in a day. For instance, I might wear Eau Sauvage during the day and Guerlain Vetiver for the evening.

It depends. If it's a perfume with great longevity, I won't change at all. Sometimes, though, a great scent will peter out and I'll take that opportunity to do something else, sometimes getting an interesting "layering" effect. But almost always there's a "nightcap" of sorts, something relaxing or gourmand.
I seem to operate similar to cbstarker. However, I don't typically apply a "nightcap scent" unless I am trying out new samples and cannot wait to get them on my skin, or unless I am just really craving a specific scent.

Amost always two frags per day for me. On occasion I will apply a third at bedtime but rarely.
