Love at first sniff

Ok Bigsly if I am stealing your idea of what you wanted your thread to be I am sorry in advance. I was curious what fragrances have you sprayed the first time ever and you knew you had to buy that fragrance no matter what.

Amouage Reflection

It was love at first sniff. It completely bowled me over, actually, and to be honest I've never had an olfactory experience before or since that had the impact that that first sniff had. I felt as if I had found the scent I was always looking for. After a few more tests I had had some qualms about the drydown, but further testing and I fell in love with all aspects of the scent and picked up a bottle. Despite the high price, I've no regrets.

Ambre Narguille, Tobacco Vanille, and Back to Black, which are all very similar. Tobacco gourmands apparently really turn my crank...

Rochas Man - blind bought it but it was love at first sniff because it is exactly what I expected

and then

Pure Malt - it was almost impossible to find it online and I thought that its overhyped. Then, one day I found it in store and after 1 spritz I was sure that I want it even If I had to pay listed 80 Euros. Fortunately I found it cheaper later. It's pure masterpiece. 6 stars! Best thing I smelled yet and suits me well too.

To answer the question posed by this thread:

Winter Woods by Sonoma Scent Studio is a newer release I had to get. The swirl factor is second to none....and the scent itself is terrific.
