Comme de Garcons Series 9:?

Forgive me if you stumbled into this thread hoping there was some new info on a CDG Series 9, unfortunately I'm in the same boat, and was wondering if there's ever been a peep on continuing the series. What do you think would be a good theme for a new series?

Hmmm... let me see: they've done Leaves, Red, Incense, Cologne, Sherbet, Synthetic, Sweet, Energy.

So, how about Blue, Wood or Fabric?

I would love to see Cdg take on minerals and other elements or herbs.
Cdg Series 9: herbs. Origanum, Thyme, Basil, Tarragon, Cilantro.
or
Cdg Series 9: earth: clay, sulfur, coal, salt, soil, sand.

I'd be up for a Flowers series - as it is, CdG already has some of my all-time favorites, like Stephen Jones and Champaca.

Given Red, Incense, Sweet, the Original EdP, 2 Man, and Hinoki, CdG seems to have leaned heavily towards orientals. I would be nice to see greens, herbal, florals, or something odd and conceptual again like the Synthetic. ( Vegetables series anyone? Dibs on Celery and Carrot...! )

I PRAY, they don't decide to be 2 years late, and do CDG Series 9: Aoud. NO!!!! But, thinking off the top of my head, I don't believe they've done an oud scent yet?

Everyone gives in eventually, even hold-outs like Lutens. The force of oud will not be stopped! So your fears may come true.

I for one don't mind oud, but am totally worn-out by oud and rose combos. If CdG did a series like certain other houses, I'd imagine it would look like...

...Quite possibly with saffron in every one.

This name sounded like the oud frags from Comptoir Sud Pacifique, which I've always being interesting of having.
I cannot complain about oud trend, since i love oud frags.

Maybe comme des garcons could make a four seasons series, or maybe a climatic series.
From the past series, I just wish that they could relaunch the sweet one...

Some Basenotes predictions have been right. I remember after Nuits de Cellophane was released folks were joking "Hey, what's next? A fresh Lutens?" And then came L'Eau...

If only I'd known. I'd have gone to Morocco and given him a good talking to - "The spice must flow, Serge, the spice must flow!"

Someone needs to write CdG a "Don't even THINK of doing an oud" letter.

Angora, Cotton, Mohair, Silk, Velvet, Wool... it would all about different kind of textures, feels of various materials.

I love the idea of oud and also the fabric/cashmere.
My thought was: ANIMAL!
Musk, Civet (get it? "9" [lives]), Castoreum.
The musk could possibly include an oud note.
