I'm curious to know how many Bners have tried less available frags. I included some that are not that difficult to get as an indicator of how much interest there is in less "mainstream" frags. You can choose more than one, obviously.

I`ve tried: Yatagan, Terre d'Hermes (Both Parfum and EDT Versions), Habit Rouge (Vintage One), Dior Homme (Sport, EDT, Cologne and EDP), L'Air du Desert Morocain, Tobacco Vanille (one of my faves), Black Aoud (like it a lot), Muscs Koublai Khan (in the wax sample form), Musc Ravageur (have it and love it), Chergui, Chinatown, Amouage Frags (have tested Dia, Gold, Ciel, Reflection, Jubilation XXV Men, Lyric Men, Epic Men, Epic Woman)

The one`s that have to try: Green Irish Tweed, Bois du Portugal, Knize Ten, Cumming the Fragrance, Patou Pour Homme, New York (PdN)

I missed on that list Derby and Rochas Macassar...

I have tried 12 of them so far.

I did not count MKK, as I have only tried the wax sample and for me, that is insufficient.

Remember guys, I could only list 20 !
I've tried all except for L'Air du Desert Marocain, Cumming, Patou PH and Chinatown.
I've tried all on that list except Bois du Portugal, Cumming, and New York. I keep meaning to try New York, given how often it's compared to Patou PH.
I've only tryed Dior Homme; Habit Rouge; and Knize Ten..!
All of them apart from Cumming and Chinatown.

Oh, so bad that the list is limitated to only 20 frags =/

Yes, but I think 20 is enough to at least provide an indication of the experiences of BNers.

So sad that more people are not getting to sample Patou Pour Homme.
If I could give everyone a sample of one masculine fragrance, it would be Patou PH, followed by Patou PH Prive...
I know it's almost completely unavailable these days and it just makes me sad. What a beautiful fragrance.

How have you not tried Yatagan yet??? It's the granddaddy of everything you love...

Counting things I've smelled in stores repeatedly but that I would never wear (Habit Rouge, Cumming, MKK), I've sniffed them all!

Most of them I've worn properly for a full day at least once...

All
none of the above. ive really stayed away from niche for budget reasons and honestly, "synthetic" stuff doesnt bother me too much. if it smells good to me, for all i care it contains extract of manure
post #18 of 40
I've sampled all except Cumming.

Hey now! My samples are picked with meticulous care and research. I am NOT a fan of celery (the scent that is), and animalics are another category that I'm non-to-fond of, so it just never has interested me enough to seek it out. But, there is a time and place for everything!

All but Tobacco Vanille (I know...), Cumming, New York, and Chinatown.
All except Knize, Cumming, TV.

Dhofar / Patou Pour Homme? I'm interested . . . that and Uden seem to be the Xerjoffs I would like to check out.

PS Don't believe everything you hear about 'celery' and Yatagan.
None of them...!
Patou Pour Homme is the only one I've never had the pleasure of sampling. Nice list, Bigsly!
I worry that this speaks to the level of my obsession but I have tried them all.

Very nice list and it would be a quite awesome wardrobe for anyone.

I haven't tried the Patou either (but I have tried the others). However, I think I got a sense of what it's like by sampling Punjab. I'm not suggesting they are very similar (how could I?), but from the reviews I think I do have a good idea why so many like it.
I've tried all of them except Patou PH...I'll have to track that one down!
Just 5 votes for "All of the below"? I would have expected everything listed to be pretty common - atleast from a basenotes junkie's pespective. That tells me I am not the only one who rarely clicks on a thread nowadays.
I have tried all but Cumming and Tom Ford TV. For Cumming I have no intrest whatsover (yes its way too gay and silly) but Tobacco Vanille sounds lovely although I suspect it is overpriced in full-bottle purchase wise.
The only ones I haven't tried have been Patou Pour Homme and Chinatown.

I´ve tried Terre d´Hermes & Dior Homme
At least 4-5 titles from this list
Haven't got round to sampling these: PdN New York, Cumming, Patou PH, L'air du Desert Morocain, Yatagan. LOL, yeah I know. Too many fragrances, too little time.
I've sampled 5 of those.
All except Yatagan.
I have tried 7. Looking forward to tying Musc Ravegeur, Chergi, Black Oud, and an Amouage maybe Lyric first. I would also love to try Tobacco Vanille but I don't even know who makes it. Is it Tom Ford? I think I have seen it on his private collection. I just bought Oud wood but I am a little disapointed on the sillage and longivity.
Yet to try TdH, the Creeds, Cumming (where is this sold?), Patou PH, and Chinatown (Bond can kiss off).

All of the others are really good in their own way.
