I never really cared for A*Men. However, Rochas Man is really good. I think that one may be your answer.

I feel the opposite. Rochas Man is weak and undefined, while A*Men is brazen and exciting. You should check those out keeping in mind that A*Men = chocolate and tar while Rochas = sweet cotton candy/mocha.
In other news, Bond No. 9's New Haarlem is still the best chocolaty\\coffee-ish gourmand.
Musc Ravageur doesn't have chocolate per se but does have that delicious edible vibe and also a lot of musk.

Have you tried Dior Homme?

Get 30ml of A*Men. It should fit into your budget, will last you long because you dont need to spray much and is more chocolate than Rochas IMO.

Hm, if your looking for cheapy, might want to checkout Animale Animale. I don't recommend blind buying it, but it does have a chocolate-like gourmand accord.

Desir de Rochas Pour Homme and Micheal Jordan Legend are two relatively under the radar (and therefore cheaper, I got both for under 20 bucks each) chocolatey scents that are great.

honestly, A*Men is worth the price. i tried for so long to find it cheaper but i eventually sucked it up and bought the 1.7mL...so far its the purchase ive been the most happy with (well actually 4.2 oZ varvatos classic was a STEAL on amazon haha)

anywho, its the best gourmand with chocolate ive tried. its been around since 1996 so its obviously doing something right. it really is a high quality scent, you wont be disappointed

Although I don't wear A*Men myself, I re-discovered it and I think it's good. I also second Pervy's recommendation of Animale Animale wholeheartedly. I own this one. It's quite inexpensive and it's more subdued than A*Men.

How come no one has mentioned

Demeter Fragrances are cheap and have several chocolate offerings: Brownie, Chocolate Chip and Hershey's.

I have the answer to your problem..............Avon's Tomorrow for Him.
It is unlike all other Avon products, which seem to be "run-of-the-mill" type of scents.

Frankly, the notes I make out and all I can think of are Vanilla and Caramel!
It seems like many other reviewers here on BNotes smell nothing but Chocolate.

Get a hold of your local Avon rep and check it out, or like me buy it blindly and get it off of Ebay.
I don't think you'll be disappointed!

My wife says it smells like a chocolate brownie. 2 or 3 sprays of this will last me all day.

For those who want a gentle chocolate (no tar, heavy lavender, etc.), I can't see how you can go wrong with Amour de Cacao.

Hi grgfourtinas -

I've found both Hanae Mori and Play Intense (by Givency) to have strong chocolate notes in the drydown.

Very Irresistible by Givenchy and Dior's Homme Intense come to mind. Very good chocolate scents.

L'instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme has a fantastic chocolate note. It may be my favorite! It doesn't beat you over the head like some other gourmands

From the list above, I particularly second Rochas Man and Very Irresistible
