My father's birthday is coming up in June, and I was thinking about getting a bottle of Vintage for him. He's a top level engineer at DuPont, and has always worn Halston Z-14 aftershave for as long as I've known (he also has a small bottle of it in cologne form). Last I was home, I was rummaging around in the master bathroom trying to find a pair of nail clippers for my cat, and noticed that he was running pretty low, so I figured it might be a nice gift to get him something new. I got a decant of it from the local Sephora, and I think it's somewhat comparable to Z-14 in a very general sense. Not sure if I should ruin the surprise of the gift by making sure he likes the scent beforehand, though.
