they are similar but i feel silver mountain to be better, it lasts longer, it smells better and has more depth than Himalaya, Himalaya does not say enough for me, it is not offensive but there is nothing that makes it stand out. I would say get SMW.

Interesting comments. I think you may be right.

I'm with David. Himalaya is pleasant enough but SMW is more unique and has better projection and longevity. +1.

thanks guys i think smw has flavor if you will, hla has a good intro but bad drydown which smw does better, green irish beats hla as far as a masculine floral.

Smw has become My favorite Creed. I really did not care for Himalaya from the sample I was given. It may be an issue of the current weather and skin type. The SMW really shines for Me.

smw, no contest

sampled both and preferred Himalaya over SMW. I thought SMW smelled regular whereas himalaya gave me something distinct and classy. Like a lighter incense soap type of vibe. I would like to get a decent sized decant of both.

Both great scents, but if I had to choose, I'd have to go with SMW.

Himalaya smells like a wax candle covered in baby powder that someone spilled a drop of gasoline on....or like a less fresh, less green Paco Rabanne XS. Not my thing and one of my least favorite masculine creeds.

Silver Mountain Water gets my vote by a huge margin, as it is one of the strongest, longest lasting citrusy-floral-aquatics available....And among thôse it is clearly the highest quality, as well as the most unique of them all. And it fetches me more random, totally unsolicited, fragrance-driven female compliments than any other scent.

It's one of the only scents I did a 180 on, after initially thinking it was a little too femme and cold. Over time, I learned that the icy, floral nature works so well together....in a most unique way.
