I live in Saudi Arabia and have found that Montale's Royal Aoud is available in two different bottle colours from two different shops. At Debenhams, the UK chain, it is sold in a black bottle and is HEAVENLY - a very pure aoud scent rivaling some of the oils sold here. Elsewhere, it is sold in a silver bottle, and seems much less 'aoudy' - more of an ordinary spice and citrus blend - almost not even the same scent. Has Montale re-formulated? Or are there variations in the same scent marked by packaging? I would love to buy the black bottle from Debenhams, but want to make sure I'd be able to get it again. Thank you for any insight.
