For some reason, I own most of the Zegna frags. Zegna Z is a great citrusy frag IMO.

TF Black Orchid, hands down.

Why is Encre Noir considered a designer scent while costume national, Etro and CDG are considered niche? I have a costime national suit and I have seen Etro shirts and suits and that speaks designer to me.

i do consider them designer but was not interested in any of the reviews. not sure if costume national was in the book but i remember some etro/cdg. it's a pretty subjective poll.

3rd Man, with Encre Noire, Herrera for Men and Body Kouros close behind.

Kouros and Yatagan - forgive me for passing over those great scents, but Bulgari Black is just so awesome and so easily wearable. You have to admit it's a heck of a list. It would make a great wardrobe for sure.

Third Man, with a nod toward the less versatile Kouros and Yatagan.

For me, it's a toss up between vintage 3rd Man and Kouros. I also am fond of Yatagan and Encre Noir. I'd have to choose Le 3 Homme simply for the versatility factor.

Turin's review of Yatagan is what got me to buy it blind.
