Notes of honey, candied fruits, quince, pain d’epice, white flowers.
This is a lovely honey fragrance from Luckyscent.

Try the limited edition "Shimmering" EdT of L'Occitane's Honey & Lemon/Miel & Citron in addition to the original (non-shimmering) one...I like the shimmering one better as it has a delicious apricot note, and less vanilla than the original.

I do quite like vanilla but is it a very over powering sickly vanilla. if so I might go for the shimmering version

Have you tried Poison? I think it has a strong honey note. I used to think it oppresive but now I love it.

No. I have only got like two perfumes Fantasy and hidden fantasy. Who's it by? =D
post #13 of 23
I don't do well with vanilla, so less is better for me. But try both for yourself-- are there L'Occitane shops where you are?

Their is one right next to my college =] I can go and test them out! Thanks a bunch

Do you know if any of the other honey & lemon products they have smell similar to the original one, cause it seems my store only has the LE one

Poison is by Dior. It has been around for a long time so it should be easy to sniff it in pretty much any store. It might be a little scary though. It took me years to get over the memories of women overusing it when I was little.

You might try Africanimal by MAC. I get a spicy honey off of it. It was limited edition last summer, but last time I checked, it was still available on MAC's website. And the price is definitely right!

There is a "men's" fragrance called Rouge Royal, which contains a strong honey note. It is powdery, with some spice, iris/orris, vanilla, heliotrope, star anise, and a touch of fruit (to my nose). The "official" notes seem to be: lavender, geranium, amalfi lemon, resin, cardamom, cinnamon, white honey, sandalwood and virginia cedar (from fragrantica.com). I find this about as "unisex" as imaginable, and smell no wood.

The stores around here seem to have the original EdT and related products, even if you don't see it on the website. Probably your store will as well.

Dior's Bois d'Argent is the benchmark that I compare all other honey scents to. Although labeled as a "cologne", its oil content is more like an EDP.

MAC did a scent called Naked Honey but I couldn't find it on their online website- maybe it's still out there ? It looks pretty good.
