Guerlain's PDT habit de fete refills refillable?

I have a question about the habit de fete for the Guerlain parfums de toilette. You know, the rectangular gold "basketweave" cases.



My question: Can you decant into the glass bottle once it's empty? I realize there are refill bottles, but do the tops of the bottles also screw off?

I ask because I have an "umbrella" style edc atomizer from the 80's, and the top actually screws off. So I can refill it from my splash bottle (awesome).

Anyone observed? Many thanks for your help!

No. This style of basket gold case was also used for the pdt and I have a Chamade edp which also fits into one.

None of the Guerlain sprays can be unscrewed.

That's good to know. I was thinking of hunting a case down, but there's not much point now. It would have been the perfect atomizer for my Shalimar pdt. Will have to find something else, something Guerlain-esque.

The Habit de Fete has changed from the 'basket weave design" ,so nothing from today's Guerlain range, would fit into it .

The refills actually fit both the old and new containers. It's the same with edt and parfum, they haven't changed the bottles themselves.

Refills:
EdP is 50 ml, Edt is 90 ml and I have a refill of L'Heure bleue pure perfume 8 ml (0,25 oz)

There are habit de fete containers in three different sizes to fit 50 ml edp/93 ml edt/8 ml parfum.

Yes the refill bottles themselves haven't really been changed since 1965 when Guerlain's refill canister system was introduced. Originally, the bottles contained 96 (not 93) ml, but brand new bottles even fit into the very old, original motif decorated canisters and in the demonstration "sucriers". A wonderful consistency!
