Brit...or London?

So, I have my senior prom coming up.
I'm gonna go for Burberry, because they have a lot of minis. Question is, should I go for Brit, the Beat, or for London? It's quite humid, and it's summer here in my state. Another option is Bvlgari Soir. So, which one should I go for?
If it helps, I like spicy, woody, oriental scents that aren't too musky.

LONDON hands down!

Both, but if I'd really need to choose between the two, it'd be London definitely without thinking twice.

I love -- or loved -- Brit, but in heat and humidity, and dancing? Hell no. Too much of everything.

I say London.

I hate to go against the grain, and i do love london, but in humid weather i might be tempted to go for soir >.<

London... But then, I don't like Brit at all.

I'm not a fan of London, but I think London Special Edition is fantastic. I'd say go for that. It's easy to find online for the same price as the regular London. It's fresher, and better suited for warmer temperatures. Otherwise, I'd say go for The Beat.

Hmm. That's realy quite interesting. Props to the recommendations, guys. I'm smelling Brit on my wrist right now and it's really a nice woody, oriental scent. It does stay a bit close to the skin though. Can anyone comment if London projects better?

Don't take this the wrong way, guys, but I've been going through Yahoo! Answers, and Brit is recommended there instead. I know that the girls there don't have the best noses, but honestly, I'm going to be wearing a fragrance for others during the prom, not for myself. Which one, would you say, would be a better compliment getter, especially with girls?

London easily (can't stand Brit).

I like London but prefer Brit. Brit always gets compliments off women. Wear Brit.

London

Brit!

Brit if you are happy with the drydown.

If you like lots of powder notes in a frag, then Brit. Otherwise, London.

Im a dude, but may help some. If it's going to be hot, Bvlgari Soir would be a great choice. And smells very classy. I think that would be nice at a prom. The Beat, Brit and London seem to work better in the cooler months.

london is the better of the group

the new Burberry summer is actually not bad at all (same bottle as the original one)
and will do in hot temperatures.

London i feel wouldnt be good in hot humid weather, and if you are going to be dancing i think you should go a little lighter.

If you dont care trying something else 212 Men is my all weather fragrance. Issey miyake isnt a bad choice either

Brit is far too powdery for my nose. I would go with London but as others had mentioned, it's not good in the heat. Is there a particular reason for choosing one of these 2? If you live near a Sephora you could try out some warm weather frags, get a free sample and then use that in the meantime

+1.

I prefer Brit to London. I also own the Beat and the classic London, and would wear the latter two in warmer weather before I wear the former. Especially the classic London. Great in warmer weather. The beat is nice too.

London as well. I think Brit is one of the most overrated fragrances of all time, up there with Chrome and Issay Miyake all of which I strongly dislike.

I like brit better but london is great also.

Does anyone know of a scent really really close to brit but projects and lasts better?
I would pick Brit over London considering the engagement and circumstances: 1) Brit is more formal/class-smelling to me; 2) It projects more and has more body than London, which stays very close to the skin on me; 3)London smells of Christmas and winter holidays (in a strange cerebral way), and therefore its ill-suited for this season and climate. Ultimately, wear which ever fragrance makes you feel like you're worth more than a million times the money you spent on the tux, dinner, and festivities. Its a night you'll never forget, and you want to feel as priceless as I hope the night will be for you. If that means something totally different, go with it. You won't regret it that way....I'm starting to feel rather nostalgic. I think I wore Christian Dior Dune for Men...Boy did the ladies love me that night....

I would say Carven Homme is in the same vein of Burberry Brit and Gucci Envy (powdery orientals with rosewood, ginger, carnation, etc). It projects better than both and lasts longer on my skin. All three are great options with small variations.

London would be my choice.

Definitely not London - its a die hard winter fragrance... if you wear it, you're going to suffocate everybody around you seeing as its the dead middle of summertime. If you have to go with a Burberry scent, I'd go with Brit - its much more formal and sophisticated and much less cloying in warmer weather. Out of all those you listed, though, definitely Soir. Its perfect for black tie affairs.
