Going to bed now, but wanted to post anyway, in case I forget to do so when I wake up. I've been in an Ava Luxe frame of mind so I will probably wear one from that line. Have a lovely day, and take care, all.

I'm in a sample of Pure Poison, given to me
by a lovely Dali wearing, Greek BNer ...

Packing today in preparation for a short trip to see the family in Norfolk.

Hello! You all smell lovely, but I have to commend you, Tom on that spectacular choice. Mmmmmm.
I am wearing a scent that came from our beloved Twolf, who didn't get on with the musks. Since I seem to not notice musks, I'm enjoying the ladylike front end of it and looking forward to seeing what it does during the day and if I can finally smell musk now.
My SOTD is (drum roll please) Fleur d'Iris from Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier.
It's chilly-ish here today and I"m loving this. It's feminine and powdery and ladylike. Beautiful.

have a lovely day all.

Today I'm in Corrida by Satellite. I was in the mood for blackberries, and to my novice nose, this one is full of them!
Hello all--Real Life has been calling, so I haven't been able to check in as much lately. Hope everybody is well! No SotD for me yet, but yesterday was Chanel No.19 parfum and SotN was Guerlain Vol de Nuit.

Take care, all!

Must be a busy day for all of us! I'm in Evelyn.
Hello everyone!

I'm in another wonderful summery fragrance by Fragonard, this time it's their classic Fragonard, with notes of bergamot, honeysuckle, lily, jasmine and amber. This reminds me a bit of Ysatis in character, if not in the notes - they're both opulent and elegant vacation-y sort of scents. They actually remind me of luxurious hotel lobbies opening onto sparkling swimming pools under sunny skies....I love that about them.

Hi there ronni - you look new! Welcome, and have a great time!

Y'all have a fantastic day!

Morning everyone !
Waking up to my day with Poivre by Caron.
Still in the comfort zone of scent, today is Angela Flanders Oudh Noir, which is dark and woody as the name implies, with an emphasis on patchouli and vetiver to give it that deep woods earthiness. Great for the fur-lined cave!
Good morning to all! Good to see you, Asha! Sophi, what is that scent you are wearing? The bottle looks like a double-decker nose. :-)
I'm enjoying some Ecume de Rose today.

Commes Des Garçons Avignon, and not just because I like using the cedilla! It feels lofty today - vast and uplifiting. It's one of the few scents I'm perfectly happy enveloped in a huge cloud of, so I save it for days when I can do just that!

Welcome, ronni!

In the mood for something comforting today, Molinard Habanita.
Good morning, all! It's overcast here, but I'm wrapped in a warm cloud of Narciso Rodriguez for Her (Black), from a Nordstrom sample. On my first try, I'm finding this powerfully rich and musky. There are fruity and floral notes there if I sniff for them, but the overall impression isn't floral, just a sort of cloud of rich perfumey musk. Like a very stylized representation of clean warm fur

Habit Rouge (vintage Eau de Toilette) by Guerlain

This is last drops of my decant. I guess I need a bottle now. I always thought the EdC was more my speed, but now I am starting to see the brilliance of the vintage EdT, in certain situations. I definitely smell a more prominent incense note in the EdT (the one that's amped up in the EdP that everyone raves about). The only drawback, is if I venture outdoors, it can get a bit sticky if I sweat too much. But here indoors, at my office desk, I smell fantastic.

Hello dear BNers! You smell fabulous today.

NLS, I love the picture you posted with your SOTD - you remind me that I should not neglect my bottle of Norell. I should set it out for tomorrow.

Today, though...I went with

Chanel No. 19 (parfum, modern formulation)

Yesterday, I had some unfortunate scent choices. I had some weird chemistry with Bandit (which I normally love)....then late at night, I tried my sample of Vanillaville (which I thought I would love based on the notes, but it made me a little queasy). I ended up washing it off and dousing myself in Rochas Femme for bedtime (aaaaahhhhh). But then I had a weird dream (don't ask). So today, I had to go with something that never fails me and always smells lovely...

Hugs to all!
Lovin' all the Madame Rochas on here today ...

I'm in my SO's Diptyque Eau des Hesperides. I don't care for it. It has a bitter herb note (on me) that is not at all agreeable. Humph.
I´m with Sophi, in Dali, today!

From 2008: It Is Love.
Notes of grapefruit, pomegranate, pink pepper, immortelle, narcissus, iris, crystal musk, vanilla, sandalwood and sweat amber.

Nice, but forgettable.
Acca Kappa Calycanthus -- just love the sound of it, reminds me of some gibberish saying from a chilhood, or an abracadabra spell.
Royal English Leather by Creed from a sample !
Lyndy Hop ~ I love your use of Smileys! It's raining right now, and I feel like we could never get too much rain or thunderstorms. You're so lucky to be in the Pacific NW.

Rare shopping day for me with stupendous luck with tops at Catherine's (plus size). Popped into Ulta and unfortunately sprayed myself with two disagreeable scents: Samsara (I know, I know, I know — everybody else likes it but me) and Ferragamo Incanto Bloom — chemicals, blech. Oh well, tomorrow's another fragrance day.

Tee-hee. Yes, Twolf — supercalifragi-kappa-calycanthi-licious.

Annayake Miyako for the evening...
a zen garden with warm incense-laden breeze.

For evening ,the narcotically good and rich Narcisse Noir by Caron.

Fracas

My equally gorgeous friend Duc, last summer the drydown of Ysatis had that sweet vanilla almond thing that HP has. Seriously. It only did that once, but I can't get it out of my head. As for my six-year-old niece.... my sis is being a little punk right now, so I thought if I passed down this luscious little sillage bomb and it was accidentally overapplied/dumped all over something absorbent I would get an evil little thrill thinking of her attempting to clean it up. As it is, I think I'll be nice and keep it because I know I would regret using such a lovely thing for evil and when I'd want to wear it again, I'd have a moment of wistful, "Oh yeah. That's what I did with it."
You smell good, by the way.

Saying "good night" in Alien parfum.
And I'm saying good night in 1 spritz each of Oudh Noir, CB Patchouli Empire, and Coromandel (so I could describe the differences in the patch in each of 'em on another thread.)

I love Avignon!!!

Today I wore Chanel No. 5

Musse, just curious- does your Dali scent really have "sweat amber" in the basenotes, or was that a typo?

Quarry, I love my Guerlain's but Samsara is not my fave, either. "un air de samsara" is really interesting, tho with a mint twist in there.

Another 11 hour workday- glad it's a short week. MY SOTD was Guerlain Cologne Du 68 (again). I really am enjoying this!
