Yesterday I bought Millesime Imperial. My first dip into the niche market, and couldn't be more excited for my package to come. I'm 17 so I'm new to the fragrance game but I'm enjoying learning many new things each and every day!

Well, I actually got it earlier in the week, but I'll share anyway. I purchased (blind) a bottle of Les Nereides Imperial Opoponax. I absolutely love it. Simply amazing!

Thanks man! It took me awhile to build up the courage but I finally took the plunge. Once I have this for a while I'm gonna look into Virgin Island Water, Green Irish Tweed, or Himalaya.

Just blind bought Cool Water Frozen. I actually quite like Cool Water, and Frozen supposedly adds a very refreshing opening with a mint note, one of my favourite notes, so looking forward to it.

One of the SL scents that's rarely spoken about. That juice is so lovely, it makes me smile when I smell it. It reminds me a bit, of driving through Central Florida (as a kid) and smelling all of those citrus groves from the backseat of my parents car. Enjoy Joe!

Histoires de Parfums 1725. Nice that HdP offer 14ml bottles - doubt I would have sprung for 120ml altho retail here is OK, around USD 120.

Editions de Parfums Une Rose. Ditto, more or less, as I'm sharing the set of 3 x 10ml with a fellow basenoter.

L'Occitane Eau des Baux. Finally this one made an appearance in HK altho I can see it being more of an Autumn thing.
I finally pulled the trigger on some more Erolfa (samsam1029 you should add this one to your list of Creeds to check out). Although, I didn't go with a new retail bottle. Instead I chose to go with a large decant from a fellow Basenoter. I still can't go $100+ for a bottle of fragrance (the wife would never understand for one).

I also purchased another lot of samples on eBay of Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche (another of my newfound loves). I'll will now have enough samples to make a good sized decant at a fraction of the cost of a full bottle.

The variety of fragrances are more important to me right now than the volume of each one, and the bottles themselves don't mean too much to me. It's all about the juice. I am also pretty light on the sprayer, so large decants work just fine for me and will last me a good amount of time.

La Nuit de L'homme. Yea!!! My first YSL in a few years since I stupidly trade my M7 for Armani Code.

Congrats again Matt....
Did you get that SdM from ebay from this seller in Lithunia?
I was so close to buying that but SdM is not my kind of scent.

Thank again, Gupts!
Indeed, I did. =D
One thing puzzles me though, that the "Limited Edition" SdM spray bottle (50mls) would out-price a bell jar (75ml). I think someone brought it up before. Does the spray come with some cool freebies?

Nah mate. I think it's just timing. A used SdM bell jar sold for a bit more than yours (that is ofcourse sealed).
Plus I think people may have some issues with bell jar leaking in transit is why they may abstain from bidding.

Enjoy your 'indian curry splash' mate ;-)

=D Yeah I think SL bells are simple yet lovely. And like Gupts said, it is curry in a bottle hehe...

That was actually very funny, Gupts: Indian Curry Splash. I'm going to steal this term if I ever wanted to describe SDM in the future. :P

guess ive started slowly to understand the beauty of Lutens fragrances. Very standout character, although some of them might be little too much to wear (at least to me, feel like some of the Lutens fragrance was wearing me instead sometime if that make sense)
