Hi guys, I'm hoping you can help me out with a quest for a perfume.
About ten years ago I went to Namibia for three months and came across a tree that Himba women use for perfume. It has the most gorgeous, light scent, almost sandalwood-y but fruitier. It's called omumbiri, Latin name Commiphora wildii, and I just got a newsletter from the World Wildlife Foundation saying that Estee Lauder are using it in a perfume. I believe the plant is related to myrrh, although I've searched the Internet with no joy.
The scent of that tree is one of those perfect, wonderful memories that really sums up a place and time, and I'd love to find a perfume that reminds me of it. If anyone has any idea which Estee Lauder fragrance it might be, I would be incredibly grateful. It may even be in a men's fragrance, I'm not sure.
Please help!

Thank you so much for the quick response, I can't believe you found so much info. And an actual perfume I can buy already, plus it's only £30! This is so brilliant, you've made my day.
