Habit Rouge Sport

I have tried Habit Rouge many many times and I fail to like it, I appreciate it for what it is smells wonderful but not on me.
My question is if Sport will be very similar to the original one or perhaps less dated and powdery? On me it smells like baby powder , like a very DRIED sweet talc. My last two purchases have been Guerlain Homme and Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune which I like both. I already have Vetiver and L Instant .. I have the Guerlain bug

I can't recall wearing Habit Rouge Sport. I think being such an HR lover, the word "sport" scared me away.

The HR eau de parfum, called Beau Cavalier in the US, is a MUST-try for the agarwood.

If you have the Guerlain bug, you must try Mouchoir de Monsieur at some point, as well as Derby. Don't hesitate to try Shalimar and Jicky as well.

I personally detest Habit Rouge Sport (there's a synthetic jasmine note in it that rings in my head when I wear it = instant migraine) but I love Habit Rouge EdC, EdT, EdP & extrait. If you do not like Habit Rouge, I think you have a good chance liking Habit Rouge Sport. I find them to be VERY different.

My advice: sample it first.

All four? Yes, they are all nice, but the price of Derby will go up with the new release--the one with the white ribbon on the bee bottle.

Enjoy them in good health!

not all of them I am planning to buy MdM :-) Shalimar and Mitsuko are great fragrances but I am afraid too feminine for my me.

Habit Sport has nothing in common with the classic Habit Rouge. It is modern, wearable, and quite unisex. I like it. I just hate the name "Sport", which sounds too cheap and ridiculious for the scent. Not something spectaculous, Habit Sport is a good scent. I think you are gonna like it.

Funny, the other day I was thinking that Baby Blue Jeans is like a light version of HR or Shalimar Light. HR has that powerful opening but then the base is fairly bare and not especially strong. If you wanted a "sport" version of it, what notes do you think you would like to be prominent?

Maybe try Habit Rouge Eau Legere

prominent notes? I just know what I do not want to be prominent and that is the baby talc note.

I think the word "sport" is tacked on to a flanker in an attempt to sell it, and to imply its wearability during the day. Ditto for "legere."

Basteri, I think you will truly enjoy MdM! For some, the civet-y accords on application scare some wearers off but the lavender and vanilla are worth the wait.

+1 for this suggestion.

Brighter citrus top-notes, less to almost no powderiness at the base. Still manages to retain the best of Habit Rouge. I have the Legere, EDT and EDP. I use Legere when i am not in the mood for powderiness.

Citrus, florals and sporty musks.
