Perfumes for Romantic Wear!

I like feminine scents that possess a blend of rich spices and flowers, with notes of amber .Many of those are recommended for romantic wear. Have you any similar preferences?
Could you please submit your favorite fragrances for romantic wear ?

Well, I'm a die hard patchouli lover and feel that those type fragrances fit the bill for any occasion. But as it turns out, my romantic-wear fragrances are actually TF Black Orchid and Givenchy Hot Couture... those are the top two. And they are in the top two because of my SO. For some reason these fragrances make him go ga-ga.... putty in my hands. I've tried Coromamdel, Vanisia, Chance and a few others that I though were romantic but they had little to no effect. In fact, he hardly notices any of those. So for my 2 cents.... Black Orchid and Hot Couture!! :-)

It's always tough for me to choose romantic fragrances, because
most gay men prefer men in male scents, obviously, but, as most
of you know by now, I'm most fond of female scents, so most of
the fragrances I find romantic, I would not wear in a romantic
situation ... get it?!

Dolce Vita; Hypnotic Poison; Dior Addict; N°5; Shalimar; and Coco
I find extremely romantic ... but wouldn't normally wear those on,
say, dates and such.

No, then I much rather be in Dior Homme Intense; Jaïpur Homme;
Égoïste; Opium pour Homme, EdP;
or Gaultier² ... always sweet
mind you ... always!

Diorissimo is perfect for romancing - but it's for nice girls, isn't it?

Romance always sounded too nice for my liking

I think lush florals (esp. tuberose) are really romantic. Some awesome ones are:

- YSL Paris
- Parfums de Nicolai Sacrebleu
- Killian Liaisons Dangereuses
- Heeley Ophelia
- Patou 1000

Carnal Flower, Fracas - amazing for romantic wear. I speak from experience.*wink wink* DH always notices these two. For me, Joy is the ultimate for romance but men might see differently. They do seem to react to tuberose .............

For me, Chamade is my go-to romantic fragrance...flowers, vanilla, and something that I would identify as a first growth Sauternes 'nose'....grrrrrrr!

I regard the following scents as romantic :-
Lou Lou, Nirmala (Molinard), Anne Pliska, Black Orchid,
Lumiere Noire pour Femme (Maison Francois Kurkdjian),
Roma and Cristobal.
As you know my husband can't smell a thing, so I wear my
romantic perfumes for myself. Others tell him when I smell
nice.

I agree with Cristobal!

Based on your criteria,
I'd also steer you to Van Cleef, Ubar, and Amouage Gold.

Thank you my dear!
My criteria for romantic wear are based on my liking
My question was about submiting your favorite fragrances for romantic wear

Amouage Gold, definitely!
Bois de Paradis also.

Go light on both of these --a little goes a long way.

I'll submit Eden and Fred Hayman 276 - both complex, floral and ambery.
