Narciso Rodriguez For Him. Good Blind Buy?

I'm thinking of buying Narciso Rodriguez For Him.

Anyone find it to be a good blind buy?

Does it get many compliments, or does it tend to make others run away from you in horror?

Don't buy this one blind! As you can see the reviews are mixed. It's a strange scent and you should test for yourself.

No. According to that Turin Perfume Guide book, it was purposely made to smell awful by the perfumer. I think it's an awesome fragrance but not a good blind buy.

OK. I will sample it then. Thanks nsamadi and Ronin.

Not a smart blind buy, I love it for the first few hours but then I get some weird, kind of animalic note that smells like my grandparents house (they have a dog that sheds hair everywhere) that makes it turn unpleasant.

It would be a great fragrance if there wasn't that generic fruity accord.

It's a great fragrance but very unusual - cannot think of anything else it smells similar to! I would say it's firmly in the 'Love or Hate' category!

Like VC&A Pour Homme, I both love and hate it.

Don't blind buy.

I don't know if I'm mistaking it for something else, but I seem to remember there being a very strong anise note in it.
