I am looking for some "fresh meat" (This addiction id getting harder to feed.), and it occurred to me to ask you guys what scent you are most keen on having discovered lately. What would you most like to advocate at this moment?
I thought it might be fun for others, too. *

It could be recent or vintage, popular or obscure! But please do describe it a bit!
Thanks in advance!
Just today, I am most worked up about Bois d'Iris by The Different Company.
For the longest time, the only TDC I was familiar with Rose Poivree, which I love, but due to the pricey-ness of the line, I was reluctant to try other scents and fall in love with more stuff I cannot afford FBs of.
Anyway, a mighty sale at Niemans Last Call (see my TDC thread in the sales and coupons section for some mind-blowing info!) got me to sample the whole line. I liked a few a lot, but I find myself unable to stop spraying myself with this Bois d'Iris. I find it so nostalgic somehow in its spiciness, as if it's recalling some spicy eighties mens fougere, even thought it's also very simple and light. And not only is it masculine-sexy, it's perfectly sexy-spicy for a woman. I love its warm drydown, and that despite being "light" and very natural-smelling, it last like a workhorse. A great, haunting modern minimal scent. A true work of art, IMO.

On the third wearing I surrendered and gave in... seduction at its best. The lavender on the anise-vanilla accord is to die for. I own this big bottle now
