Shalimar Secret de Parfum by Guerlain

Has anyone smelled this? It sounds like a flanker of Shalimar. Is it? The bottle looks very modern, but the only other modern flankers I've heard of are Shalimar Eau Legere (which I own, and love) and Eau de Shalimar (which I have not smelled).

The Secret de Parfum on the bottle is what is confusing me. The only other fragrance I've seen that uses that particular phrase is the feminine Opium.

Is it just the same juice in a different packaging? And if so, what juice? EdC? EdT? EdP?

mikeperez23; Mike. To the best of my knowledge this is just a special edition bottle with the usual EDP Shalimar juice. This is the tall modern looking bottle as I recall.

Yes, tall bottle N_Tesla...oh, so it's just 'new' EdP. Interesting...why would Guerlain bottle it differently and call it 'Secret de Parfum'? Maybe it's a modern interpretation of Parfum de Toilette?

Mike, thank you for the question. Guerlain loves "special editions," as you know. Sometimes just in a different bottle. This is esp. true for their feminines.

Mikeperez23; Mike, these special editions are for the bottle collectors. Bird of Paridise was another special edition. It is all about sales.
