Old bottle of Mitsouko--Help me date?

I bought a bottle of Mitsouko EDT in a thrift store and was wondering if any of the Guerlainistas out there could help me date it. it has a plain plastic top, not the fancy, distinctive Guerlain one. The box says "No. 685." On the side of the box it says, "Copyright Guerlain 1983." The scent is sharp, dry and reminiscent of crushed leaves at the top. I doubt it's very old, but I know from perusing this blog that some folks know about Guerlain batch numbers. Thanks!

This is definitely the pre-current version but I think you should contact Mr. G for exact dating or look at his web (it is my consultation web when I am not sure about any Guerlain bottle). I hope I don't break any rule if I post link to his web here :-)

This bottle was around in the mid eights to early ninties.
What size is it? Usually what Guerlaind and infact a number of houses use to do was release at a special price a 30ml/1oz size of different fragrances. The Guerlains all looked like your photo, I know I bought them. If I remember correctly in the mid eighties they were well under £20.

Thanks NLS! It was a nice find, although the juice is a bit thin. (I think I've seen others complain about Guerlain EDTs...) I'm still searching, however, for that bottle of "Y" I saw in my dream. I may just have to go to the perfume district and buy it (and maybe Silences, too).
