Have you found your BFF? Have you found the fragrance thas has been and still is and will always be part of your life (wardrobe)? Which one? Why? Tell us your story. What's so special about it/them (for those who have a lot)?

Haven't found one yet? Can't stick to one ey?!?!?!?

My BFF is constantly changing. I have no story behind this one, except I bought a sample, I tried it, I bought it, not much to say.

I'm talking about Parfums de Nicolai New York

Trapper, if you finish the bottle, do you think you are going to buy another one?
My BFF is an scattered amongst two or three fragrances I own. If only I can combine these elements into one!

My BFF has always been Chanels Égoïste, but after joining BN,
I've noticed, that I don't wear it often enough to call it such ...
But it will always be my alltime favourite scent pour homme.

I have too many fragrances to have a signature scent, as in, a
scent I'm in more than others, but Poison, N°5 and N°19 are
all close ...

everyone's gunna go "ohhh boy here we go again..." to mine haha

A*Men...but Le Male is really tied with it. i will never NOT have bottles of those. A*Men is my yummy, addicting, warm, sweet fragrance, while Le Male is yummy as well, but a bit sexier and more feminine really. i hope i can get Pure Malt some day cause i've heard its like A*Men but better so i'd probably love it

Rather boring, I know, but mine is Creed's Millesime Imperial. It was my first "big" purchase and, after many, many more "big" purchases, it remains my go-to frag. As long as it's in production, I'll have a bottle. Also, I'll never be without a bottle of Guerlain's Vetiver or Serge Luten's Ambre Sultan.

That is kind of thread that it's so difficult to answer. Until Now:
Aramis New West, Drakkar Noir, D&G PH, Opium, One Man Show!
I can't make a decision between these five fragrance.

Not boring at all - mine too. I unashamedly adore it and always will.

I have a problem with this - ˝just one˝...and then the old Queen song comes to my mind - I want it all, I wan it all, I wan't it all, and I wan't it now...

Serge Lutens Chergui

I am afraid I am very fickle...I WILL always love Shalimar, Mitsouko, Dune and White Shoulders though...but many come and go with my mood, age, and season.

I have to modify it a little & say BF'sF :

Mazzolari Lui - Borneo 1834 - Endymion - Kristiansand - By Man - vintage Rochas Man - Beau Cavalier - Cannabis Santal - Cadjmere - GIT / Molecule 02 combo - Rose 31 etc etc etc.
I'll stop now 'cause this can get outta hand quickly. Guess I agree with Zgb

I would go for Mitsouko, L'ombre Dans L'eau, Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme. Who knows? Maybe in the coming days, months or years I'll find another one.

Giorgio For Men. It's not niche, nor is it harder to get your hands on than plutonium, but it will always remind me of sunny, sensual summers and winters wrapped up in cashmere. Despite it's downscale move, it always makes me feel sexy and sort of glamourous. Plus, it consistently garners compliments.

* hand up * Fickle woman ! *LOL* But Guerlains will always be in my wardrobe as will Joy by Jean Patou and a couple of Chanels.........
I'll probably always have a mini-bottle of Aqua di Gio (Armani) somewhere. It doesn't seem to produce olfactory fatigue with me and just works year round with any clothes other than a tuxedo.

I'm hoping there's something else out there to take its place.

ignore this and following post

ignore
atm it would be Bois d'Armenie and Cuir Beluga by Guerlain
great fragrances and even better when layering them together
post #23 of 31
No BFF, but some serious finalists, unlikely to be matched now or in near future by any other frags. And the finalists are (in no particular order or ranking, since they would ALL easily qualify for the top spot): Blenheim Bouquet, Mouchoir de Monsieur, Creed BDP, Armani PH, Esencia Loewe
post #24 of 31
Gonna have to go with a couple, all smell great, great sillage and longevity, and get compliments.

Platinum egoiste
Le Male
Chrome

Opium femme
Shalimar.forever and ever.

Cannot decide between Bijan, Giorgio, PdN New York, and Grey Flannel . . . .

I love them all for very different reasons.

If I could have only one, it'd be good ol' Aramis.

That is a great trio of fragrances. Add Patou PH and I could be content for a long time.
