I ordered a bunch of Gendarme samples not too long ago. I finally go around to testing the Gendarme
Green sample. I remember hearing that it smells like Pert shampoo. I take my first whiff and I have to
agree that it gives off a very shampoo-like vibe. I thought maybe I was smelling good ol' fashioned
Prell shampoo. When I was in Navy bootcamp, we all had to use Prell as both a bodywash and shampoo. It had something to do with leaving less residue on the floor and making it easier to
clean the shower. Anyway, have you guys tried Gendarme Green? I'm going on record here and
saying that Mugler gives me a soap-like smell a bit like Irish Spring and that Gendarme Green is
basically the smell of Prell.
