The same seller has 2 for sale, one slightly used. He's a fellow Basenoter.

I saw the second one just a few minutes ago. Wonder where he (she) was able to purchase them?

Go for it!

It looks like these were the ones Creed had on their website a few months ago for $400 each. I believe they only had 50 of them for sale.

He's also just recently picked up a 2.5oz tester for a cool US$195 on ebay.
I had spotted that listing but couldn't buy it since the seller had buyer restrictions for overseas buyers......aaargh

Yes, the closeout Creeds were in a sort of carmel colored atomizer. That is puzzling.

Maybe somebody parting out a flacon after some appreciation in value? That's my guess.

I don't get the fuss with this scent. Yes, it smells great but it's horribly outdated.

Well, people who like it, really like it. Outdated or not.

It's a mature scent to be sure, but I happen to be mature and so I can fuss over it. It fits with some people's style.

Agreed, but the picture implies it came in a Creed box as a total package. Is there a possibility that Creed ran out of carmel colored atomizers?
It seems to be an empty leather atomizer filled with the juice, and not the ones creedboutique sold.
That's the reformulated juice.

Hardly worth the money unless you love Vintage Tabarome, have little left, and must have more.

What do you mean by reformulated? Do you mean reformulated Vintage or is it millesime ?
Pluran is correct, the quality of VT and other creeds dropped in a reformulation a few years back. Generally speaking, the Green flacons are the older, better juice.
However, there is no way of knowing which those atomisers contain.

It is outdated, but it is timeless like Frank Sinatra or Bach. The only negative is - it is not an everyday fragrance.

That's good to know as I have a 2 full green flacons from Scentiments that I purchased in 2007 for the insanely low price of $170.00. That was their everyday price back then!

I got one of the last 5 a few months ago from the CB. it was caramel brown.

For stomach ills, I have found that a spoonful of VT helps to settle the queasy feeling ;')

Hello fellas - this is my ebay auction. I assure everyone the VT and Creed atomizers are legit. I just acquired a tester bottle of VT (sorry Gupts) and decided to sell off my VT atomizers. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

Hi acjigga,

Couple of questions.
1) Why have these listings changed from 'New' to now 'Used'? Have you been using them since the auction began?
2) Why has one of the listings changed from 1.5 oz to 1.7 oz? Are you adding to it from another Vintage Tabarome source?
3) Are these just atomizers that you have filled up yourself or are they the original factory produced and sealed ones from Creed?
I need to know what I am dealing with here before bidding.

Jette:

Here you go!

1. I changed the listings from New to Used because I decanted the Vintage Tabarome into official Creed atomizers. I got my VT from the local Neiman Marcus (my SA contact there tracked down a flacon for me).
2. I changed one of the listings to 1.7 oz. because I decided to fill the atomizer to 100% full
3. Answered in number 1 - I filled them up myself. Also realize that Creed atomizers are not "sealed". They are refillable.

I assure you that it is the real thing. I also think my asking prices are more than fair (these were selling for $405 through Creed). Since you are a new BN member please check my feedback rating. No amount of money is worth my good reputation here at Basenotes. Thanks for your questions!
