Bvlgari Aqva is my new signature scent

I just bought a bottle of this stuff about 3 weeks ago. All I can say is wow! Not only do I love the scent but it lasts a very long time on me and projects miles (not literally) even after 10 hours of wear. No, I don't overspray. I never use more than 4. I NEVER thought I would get this from any citrus/aquatic scent but I did! Any thoughts on this?

Bvlgari Aqva is a top top aquatic. There is nothing quite like it. It is a unique and satisfying marine scent. Aquatics in general don't get the best press on BN, but Aqva is one of a small handful that gets regular deserving praise. Good choice, mike1990.

Does it have some similarities with Erolfa?

It was my signature scent for around 5 months too. But now, I am on 2nd bottle and its kinda old to me. Anyway, Aqva smells really sophisticated and masculine. Also has 1 of best openings I ever smelled (with Encre Noire).

Kind of, but Erolfa is a little more citrusy, and not as peppery. Both kind of have a brininess to them, but that's quite about it, imho.

Its slowly becoming my signature scent as well.

Longevity and projection are great, I agree with what Matthewfoo wrote. Kenzo Homme is also very unique and longlasting, but quite different, you ought to try it too.

I will put this on my test list!

When you try KenzoHomme, don't sniff it closely. I find it too plasticky and paint-like, but the sillage is nice and recognizable.

It's definitely a more interesting TRULY aquatic scent. Most "aquatic" scents are light veriver-y florals and fruitcakes. bvlgari aqua is like a rugged manly mountain man aquatic. I dig it.

Is there anybody here who prefers the Marine flanker? If so, why? I've looked for some reason to love that one, and I'm just not finding it. Makes me wonder why they even bothered. All the stuff I love about regular Aqua seems diminished in the Marine.

I love Aqua. I stumbled across this one before I got heavy into fragrances while on vacation in Key West. It is still my go to aquatic. I tried to like the Aqua Marine and even bought it when it came out. I do like it from a distance but everytime I wore it it gave me headaches so back to Macys it went. That's the only time i've returned a open scent that wasn't defective.
