The long lasting stuff is a trick mostly by adding the right solvents, some fixative and/or aldehydes. Most vanilla materials are base notes anyways so they are long lasting by making. If you spray some on your clothes fragrance can last even longer and doesn't morph as much as on skin.
It could be as simple as diluting some vanilla absolute in a bit of alcohol and spray it on

You are for sure a creative type : you certainly put a lot of energy in your creations and you have to be very patient.
I'm not very patient
and have nearly no free-time (I'm always training for Ballet).But I confess I have more than once thought than it could be a solution !

) used to take several little boxes of sugared mint candies ("Tic-Tac", I don't know if you have it in the US) in her non-leather bag. I do swear I remember this specifical scent nowadays as well as then ! It was DELICIOUS ! I may some day post a thread about it !
