Anybody used fragrance as inspiration for a child's name?

I'm sure someone out there is so into fragrance that they couldn't help but name their child after something related. At least a middle name. C'mon, any lil' Creeds out there?
Christians,Zegnas, Gios, or Hugos?

well, santos was a good name for a cat i almost adopted.
then i changed my mind about the cat because of allergy.

Maybe start a thread called "Worst fragrance names for a new-born". I'd probably say "Happy" and "Pleasures".

Daughter's middle name is Joy, but not because of the perfume... it never occurred to me, in fact.

Her grandmother's name was Rose. Now wouldn't it be funny if I'd named her Diabolo Rose?

Yes, I have often thought of naming my firstborn "Jicky Dzongkha Dzing". I quite like "Daytona 500 Sables-Cumming", too.

Even earlier than that. Chloé - the fragrance and the name - was very popular in the late '70s and early '80s. I still love that original Chloé.

Ralph Lauren's Lauren is another one that started a huge trend in baby girl names at about the same time.


eta - I neglected my original point for this post, which was that my grandmother once had a pug named Giorgio, and he was definitely named after the fragrance!

My doughter`s name is Jacinta, which is the female version of Jacinto (spanish word for Hyacinth). The flower itself is cheerful and lovely....exactly like my tiny Jacinta! but, when my wife and I chose the name, was only because we liked it!
