View First Unread Problem

I use Firefox with adblock, and the view first unread tab has never worked properly for me. Particularly, after a few days, i will revisit a thread, and it will skip over a few days of the thread and land me on the last couple of posts on the current day. Anyone else experiencing this issue, or have suggestions for a fix?

Yes, very similar experiences and I am using Internet Explorer. On occasion I will sign on and although it might be 12 hours since I signed off Basenotes if I click on "New Posts" I will get a message saying there are no new posts although there may actually be dozens.
