HOW WELL DO YOU SEE COLOR? This is a FUN test:

Mine was 15
the mid section was the weak area (hmmmm also applies to my body, as well)
I tested 12 but was surprised it wasn't a better score. It was interesting to see the parts of the spectrum I am less discriminating in. I wonder whether this is something one can learn by redoing, whether a restest would score higher? I'll try and edit this post.

Edit:

Oh my goodness! I got a perfect score the second time around! Well, I guess learning is possible...

78!!! Damn!

I looked at the test when I was finished, thinking to myself;
'I'll get a close to zero score'. But it came up with 78 ... wtf?!
I scored 4!

I got a Zero = perfect color acuity. I'm super sensitive to color gradations, and I love playing with color. Thanks for posting that, that was fun.

I wondered about that too, so glad to hear the re-test theory worked. I actually thought my score would be worse because I did the test without my glasses on (silly woman). It showed the lowest score in my age group at 1520, so I'm happy enough with my score.

Retest for LeDuc: Please number these 3 ducks in order of red, yellow and green.

I got 14. Not perfect, but I can live with it.
Hey don't feel bad, Duc. I scored 71. In part it also is a test in patience. I reached a point when I didn't want to tweak it anymore.
Yay! I've done this before but never scored a perfect! Monitors play a big part in these tests. If the monitor is poorly calibrated the colors will not be true.

I scored 4.
I scored a 4 as well. Seems to be a popular rating!

Perfect! (but better be... I was a graphic designer before I got into e-learning design.)

(would be interesting to see out of those who could not arrange the colors well how many are on Mac monitors and how many on PC... and who still has CRTs versus who has flat monitors.)

Mac here, flat monitor.

Myself as well. (calibrated somewhat often too.)

I got a 12 (Mac, never-calibrated flat monitor). I'm pleased enough. Results showed that my errors were mostly in the blues and greens. I wonder if it's because I grew up on an island, surrounded by the rich mix of greens and blues of the ocean! Anyway, that's my excuse! ;-)

This was fun; thanks for sharing.

Wow, I honestly got "Perfect Color Vision" on my first try.

I then went back and moved just one tile over one space, and checked what my score would be, and that then gave me a score of "3".

It was definitely at least partially luck as there were a few tiles I was unsure of.

This was done on a low quality HP matte LCD monitor at work.

edit: Just read through the thread and saw that I wasn't the only one. Oops, sorry for the pictures and getting so excited. I remember taking this a few years back and getting in the 20s.

I did this and got a 4. Anybody else get a feeling like they were going to get a migraine from doing this test!?
I only managed better than Ody, Mimi and Duc, with 19.

Mac, flat.

No, I really enjoy this kind of nitpicky thing if it involves color.

PC + flat monitor.

Yes, I had to look away several times.

I also think monitor quality plays a big role here. I'm looking at SoS's pictures of his perfect result, and some of the colors still look off to me (I scored a 4 using a cheap, standard matte Dell monitor, with the brightness turned down considerably). The full spectrum picture on the results page doesn't look perfect to me either. The 4 must have been luck.

I got 8. Mac, flat monitor. I also had trouble with the blue/greens and blue/purples. And yes, my eyes hurt now too. :P

I also got a 43 and was expecting to do better. Might re-test and see if it makes a difference.
