Tobacco dominant men's fragrances

I was wondering if you guys could help me out. For some time i have been delving deeper into the more mature and masculine colognes. Back in the day they used tobacco more in men's fragrances so i was curious what nice quality men's fragrances that one can get today are tobacco dominant. Thanks everyone.

any particular kind? for example a sweet sticky tobacco, or dry and smokey, etc...

I would add Fendi Uomo for "old school" and Fougere Bengale for "new and crazy school" tobacco.

Edit: I notice that the directory doesn't list tobacco as a note in Fendi Uomo, but it sure smells like some men in my father's family who smoked when I was growing up!

Costamor Tobacca ...notes of aromatic spices, apple peel, jasmine, rose tea, raw tobacco leaves, dried tobacco leaves, rare woods, amber .

Cigar by Remy Latour is an excellent tobacco fragrance, with more emphasis on the actual fresh cut Cuban cigar than the tobacco. Also Baldessarini Ambre is quite nice and not talked about as much. Opens up with this dark apple and cinnamon, then fades into a tobacco and rum base. Quite sophisticated really, and a big surprise to me since Baldessarini is made by Boss, it seems much more high class, like a private label niche brand.

I like Odori Tabacco. A blend of pipe tobacco/vanilla. Similar to Tom Ford's TV- maybe less vanilla, slightly heavier tobacco. A bit more masculine I'd say. But I love TV too.

Havana last time I tried was very nice- more cigar vibe.

The tobacco scents I know of lean more to the "pipe" side as opposed to "cigar." Vintage Tabarome of course is more cigar.

Xerjoff's Oroville an interesting one. Smells a bit like wet tobacco leaf.

Try Purple Label or Romance Silver by Ralph Lauren. They both have a lovely tobacco flower note.

vintage tabarome is divine, sadly i have only a limited amount. i keep that stuff for spec occacions.

Every single time I feel like it. Maybe it's just a "mature" guy thing, but when friends and people you know drop dead suddenly combined with all the other crap in the world out to kill us, your perspective changes.

Sorry to be grim, but I bought it and I'm going to enjoy it.

More to the point of the question, I do tend to use when I'm pretty well dressed and not going to be in a situation (e.g. meeting) where a potent scent will freak anybody out.

The new goal it has given me is to find something I like as much for that old school, manly vibe. If Eucris were a bit stronger, it might. Royal English Leather not too bad either.

Zino dries down to a wearable woody/amber with tobacco. Romance Silver Men has "tobacco flower," I think they call it, and it comes across as mildly tobacco-ish to me. Cuba Red suggests a cedar cigar box. Does Quorum have tobacco? Last time I wore it I didn't get a sense that there was much, if any tobacco in it, but I think it's listed as a note. I did enjoy it much more than I thought I would (I think it's the newer formulation).

rel is definitely not bad, i understand your point, you have to live 100%. Bois du portugal is the only scent of quality that i believe can match vintage tabarome in similarity and purpose.

I don't feel too many of your posts, but I'm w/ you 100% on that statement. But I put Bel Ami, Santos, and Heritage fairly close on purpose.

As for the tobacco, are you looking for:
a classy pipe tobacco?
a sweeter pipe tobacco?
a dry/dusty fully-dried loose tobacco leaf?
a moist 1/2-dried tobacco leaf?
something else?

I ask because there is nothing close to Tabarome, and I've tested many tobacco scents, and can dig up an old thread if it's pipe tobacco you seek.

Tom Fords Tobacco Vanilla is a great sublime frag that smells like sweet loose tobacco that you put into a pipe, expensive though.

tabarome millesime is a citrus fresh tobacco, as to what tobacco i like , i like a fresh tobacco like a nice cuban cigar,pipe tobacco is not bad either, just good tobacco and i am usually happy, hell and i am not even a smoker.

The Dreamer by Versace. Don't know if it fit what you're looking for but to me the tobacco in it is too strong to the point that it's irritating me cuz I'm not a smoker and stand against smoking.

Le Dandy by D'Orsay (I know, I know...he was not really a perfumer...this is a cognac/whiskey with tobacco))
The Dreamer by Versace (subtle sweet tobacco, a bit soapy)
Fifi Chachnil by Fifi Chachnil (tobacco floral with spice/cardamom)
Habanita by Molinard (tobacco vetiver)
Aimez-Moi by Caron (tobacco violet)
Ambre Russe by Parfums d'Empire (tobacco with vodka and tea)
Fougere Bengale by Parfums d'Empire (tobacco with spice and lavender)
Poe's Tobacco by Tokyo Milk (apple and tobacco)
Jasmin et Cigarette by Etat Libre d'Orange (jasmine and ashstray tobacco)

BTW, for men with real guts and a strong sense of masculinity, Fifi Chachnil smells like a men's spicy scent not unlike Richard James EDT or L'Occitane's Eau des Baux. Don't let the froufrou of the pink package and satin bow fool you: citrus, fruits, coriander, powdery rose, amber, oriental notes and tobacco.

My favourite tobacco fragrances which I wear regularly are Michael Kors for Men and Bogart pour Homme. Particularly the latter which has a lovely tobacco/tonka drydown which lasts a long time.
