The best of the three, damn good, with a few surprises. I'm curious to see where they'll take it from here.

Dark Knight Rises - Disappointing I thought the film was too long and the villain was ridiculous with his voice. There was no special powers or showing if he had extra strenth, just looked like a wrestler type guy with a mask. And that voice did not match his apperance it was funny. Batman came across as tired and worn out.

Going through "The Lost Room"...somewhat disappointing. Some nice ideas but the whole series feels overal already dated (unfortunately not in a good way)

The "Venom" in the mask makes Bane super strong and impervious to pain from what I remember from the comic, but I don't think that detail for whatever reason was shared in the movie. As for the voice, they were cutting another corner and trying to show he's educated; in the comic Bane seeks as much education as he can get. If you didn't know this from the comic though, yeah, his voice does seem kinda odd. They really coulda made it into two movies and explained the Bane character more. Also the Catwoman character coulda used more depth and Bruce Wayne's act two predicamint coulda used more explaining. As to Batman looking tired and worn out, that's how he was supposed to look.

Just saw The Descent.

One of the best horror movies I have seen ever. Depressing, brooding, gory and with a true sense of hopelessness...enjoy

Just saw a sci-fi/horror flick called Splice. An Alien-type movie based on Earth. Good, with a few interesting twisted "medical experiment gone wrong" scenes, but not outstanding. Recommended if you have some time to kill.
