Even if I have it saved both on my PC and on VCR, I re-watched for a n-th time the film adaptation, directed by Jack Clayton, of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic "The Great Gatsby" (1974).

And though even the BN avatar of mine originates from this film, the more I watch this, the more I have the feeling that - without being a bad film adaptation - the literary masterpiece it is based on has even greater potential, for even better adaptations.
