Ghandi starring Ben Kinsley ... Holy moly, what an amazing movie. It's incredible what one person can do.

Watch it on Netflix.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Just saw 17 Again (Fantasy/Comedy, 2009) on TV starring Matthew Perry, Zac Effron, Leslie Mann, and it was surprisingly good! I found myself laughing at some scenes, especially when that Ned character is on the screen.

Watched:

Lincoln was great and Daniel Day Lewis will probably get an award for this.

Dredd which actually surprised me and was well worth the watch. Tons of action.

Thirty Dark Zero was an interesting look into the operation that terminated OBL. Also worth seeing.

Skyfall was disappointing. The villian was awful and to be quite honest it was boring.

The Bourne Legacy was also surprising and is well worth seeing for anyone that likes action movies or who's into the Bourne franchise.

Total Recall which reminded me of a mix of Bladerunner and The Minority Report. Action out the wazoo.

Flight was a disturbing movie, but had an excellent story.

Django Unchained was just plain crazy. It was a mix of Roots, A Clint Eastwood spaghetti western, and Blazing Saddles.

Django Unchained (2012) I'm a big Tarantino fan, but this one was kinda meh. Too many plot holes, and ran a bit too long. Another strong performance from Christoph Waltz, and I also liked Samuel Jacksons character. Still good fun, but not one of Tarantinos best.

In the last month:

Amour(wow!)Haneke is a brilliant director(Try The Piano Teacher or Funny Games)
Headhunters-The Coen Brothers go to Scandanavia(the outhouse scene alone is worth the whole thing, priceless)
The Exorcist 111-A superb and scarey flick with the late George C. Scott(forget the crappy 2)
Cold Prey 1,2,3-A very creepy trio of horror films. (Think of a mashup of The Shining and Friday the 13th)
Chinatown-The very best of noir to me. The film is pretty much perfect and the music is incredible

And tonite its Djano
