My initiation with perfumes in High School was Aqua Velva (wasn't everybody) but became bored pretty soon, I moved up to English Leather (still in HS) but after just one bottle I couldn't stand...
I got a sample of this one from the Imaginary Authors website. This one is a smokey, woody vanilla fragrance. It kinda reminds me of cocoa, since it is very dry and has a bittersweet smell to it....
Could've been Boss, Gucci, Versace, CK for a solid sum of dollars, but it's not. He is James Bond 007 cheappie and that's the only thing that's cheap - the price. Quite cool fragrance, I have to...
As a big fan of the first Liz Earle fragrance I had high hopes for this, but I am very disappointed. The mandarin lasts about five seconds, then a couple of minutes of a, not unpleasant, generic...
Emir is a big masculine fragrance with classical roots. Opens with pleasingly tart grapefruit and sweet orange that is immediately stiffened by dry pepper that causes the nose to open wide, go AHH...
Just saw 17 Again (Fantasy/Comedy, 2009) on TV starring Matthew Perry, Zac Effron, Leslie Mann, and it was surprisingly good! I found myself laughing at some scenes, especially when that Ned character is on the screen.
Paul Simon documentary. Can't remember the name.
Lincoln.
Sweet and Lowdown (1999). One of my favorite Woody Allen movies and an overall good comedy IMO.
Django Unchained (2012) I'm a big Tarantino fan, but this one was kinda meh. Too many plot holes, and ran a bit too long. Another strong performance from Christoph Waltz, and I also liked Samuel Jacksons character. Still good fun, but not one of Tarantinos best.
Amour(wow!)Haneke is a brilliant director(Try The Piano Teacher or Funny Games)
Headhunters-The Coen Brothers go to Scandanavia(the outhouse scene alone is worth the whole thing, priceless)
The Exorcist 111-A superb and scarey flick with the late George C. Scott(forget the crappy 2)
Cold Prey 1,2,3-A very creepy trio of horror films. (Think of a mashup of The Shining and Friday the 13th)
Chinatown-The very best of noir to me. The film is pretty much perfect and the music is incredible
