Orange Channelle is blah, Infusion de Fleur D'Oranger great, Orange Star, wonderful also. I'm stuck on citrus with floral notes to compliment. Soon I'll be looking for the perfect grapefruit fragrance.

House of the month: L'artisan <- thats summer for me, as most of the L'artisan scents don't last on my skin and they are light enough to be worn in Hong Kong during the hot and humid season.

July hasn't been a very warm, summery month so I've kept wearing my spicy scents + some green scents occasionally also in July.

I think my main focus was staying cool!

Another sample-crazy month for me with 70 different fragrances sampled!
By the end of the month though I started to repeat samples more often to make up my mind about them, so I got some sample repeats. Very few love for my FBs this month, which isn't so surprising given the fact that most FBs I have are from my pre-perfumista time, and they are mostly gifts.

x4 Carven Ma Griffe (various years, often layered with each other). Love this perfume. Love it. Love it.

x3 Tocca Guilietta. You see I gave it a chance. But it officially bored me. Off with it!

x2 Serge Lutens Miele de Bois. It does not work. I wish it did but it doesn't.
x2 Annick Goutal Ninfeo Mio. Thanks a very special BNer for a sample decant! I like it a lot. The only reason I didn't wear it more in July is because it's up to the next round of testing. I want to test it in public -- it might be FB worthy.
x2 Nocturnes de Caron. Estee's Beautiful was the point of reference. Need to keep testing -- liked it second time a lot less than the first.
x2 Beautiful. I will end up liking this one after all!
x2 Chinatown. I tell you what, I do like it but I need another Bond #9 I would wear like I need a hole in my head. This stuff is too expensive and the bottles are tacky! But I actually do like Chinatown quite a bit, this Summery combination of peaches, cherries, and wood.
x2 L'Artisan Perfumer Passage d'Enfer. Nope. Not my thing.

x1 -- too many to name all, but the two deserve a mention as discoveries of the month: Naked Honey (oh I wish this wasn't discontinued!) and LouLou.

House of the month -- Estee Lauder, 7 different fragrances.
DSH, L'Occitane, Guerlain - 4 different fragrances.

The very fave was Ma Griffe, the discovery of the month -- Ninfeo Mio, the coveted one -- Fleurs de Rocaille.

LOL, I'm talking strictly perfume.
But it is alarming because I tend to skip perfume when I'm feeling very down and unmotivated. I think I will make it a new policy to not skip a day. I have so many beautiful fragrances that I need to enjoy!
