SotD - Friday the 30th of July (Synchronized Estée Lauder Day) - Page 2

Congratulations to the HEARTWOODS!!! I'm so happy that you've been so blessed!!!

Wearing Private Collection today. Love this dry grassy fragrance.
And, thanks to 30 Roses I'll be resplendent in my Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia sample tonight!
To me seems screechy at first, but then wafts around as a lovely floral cloud...
May try a little dab of Knowing in between... it scared me last time I wore it! Must go lighter this time!
(And that will be a complete wearing of my EL wardrobe!)

I'm really tried of Beyond Paradise now. I don't think there's any pleasing me today. Will have a shower and a spritz of something rosey, which I find soothing. I've been half heartedly house cleaning (hopefully, clean sheets and towels and a general dust bunny round up is sufficient because I don't feel like a major job), as we have out of town visitors arriving tomorrow - my husband's sister, her husband and their two little boys. Must plaster big smile on face. I'm actually looking forward to it on one hand, but I'm such a hermit that visits are like intrusions. Unsociable me. Have a good weekend, all!

Congratulations, Heartwood! Having had 2 baby boys myself, I can tell you that one of the best things about boys is: They love their mamas! You have such a joyful road ahead of you.

My heart is wearing EL Pleasures Exotic today, but since my bottle of that is actually empty (so sad!), my body's wearing SL Fleurs de Citronnier, from a sample as usual. But I like this one enough that I may have to consider a larger-quantity purchase...

SoTA was Le 3me Homme... and for the evening I'm breaking out my J. Peterman E.M. Ca' d'Oro... "An exotic scent with notes of bergamot, musk, amber, almond-hazelnut, sandalwood, and patchouli." That she is. The amber and sandalwood are forward tonight even in the topnotes, it's heady scent heaven! (I love the bergamot in the top as well... and this is a quite good warm-weather scent. Didn't find it as compelling during the winter, WHICH seems counter-intuitive given the notes.)...

Just sampled an EL I've had a long time but really haven't shown much love-can't find in the database either- PRIVATE SPA BODY COLLECTION CALMING BODY SPRAY. Insert says notes are " a unique blend of soothing fresh air and citrus accords, blush pink rose, jasmine, cilantro, violet leaves and vetiver". It just smelled really sweet on me.....

Moved on to an EL I really love- KNOWING

Congratulations Heartwood!! What a beautiful baby.

Congratulations to Brielle. I hope you don't have to work as hard, relax, and enjoy your home

Today I wore Knowing. It is so beautiful in very small doses. No wonder I still have an almost full bottle that was bought in the late 80s.
