Suggestions for my stepdad's gift

Well, as a man with 50+ samples I shouldn't care if one or two go missing.. but I do! Eventually I found that the culprit was my stepdad who turns out to be a fragrance fan. Awhile back I had given him my bottle of D&G Pour Homme as I found to be a bit too mature (I was around 16) so I kinda knew he was but not to this extent. He really liked it. He's used some of my fragrances after I let him but, as expected, he gravitates towards the more mature scents. So I think I wanna get him something mature, and something original. I don't wanna get him something boring.. after all he's in the same house as me. I wanna smell something good!

I was thinking, perhaps, L'instant de Guerlain. But I want more suggestions! Shoot away BN friends!

You could choose a nice vetiver scent, like Tom Ford Grey Vetiver or Terre D'Hermes. A good aquatic like Bulgari Aqua. If he likes tobacco scents like D & G, maybe a different take on tobacco like Michael Kors.

Ones that I found interesting, but "mature" are YSL M7, YSL Rive Gauche, Guerlain Vetiver, Gucci Envy.

I would go with a bunch of samples, that way you can share the hobby with him. Samples are lots more fun than a FB sometimes! I also think Rive Gauche, and the other suggestions above are all great.

Another suggestion is PdN New York. Mature, very nice and affordable niche.

Many great suggestions, especially the Havana, Envy, New York, Rive Gauche.

May I also add:

Polo Original. This one seems to be quite a timeless classic. As is Guerlain Heritage.
