Best place to purchase the Freshest Creed?

Going for a new scent - Green Valley. Do you think I would have a better chance of getting a "fresher" bottle from the Creed Boutique online, or my local Creed retailer?

I would guess that Creed online would be fresher since they opened fairly recently and the inventory has not had a chance to sit around for very long. I got a bottle from Creed Online recently and I have to admit their service was spectacular. Very easy to work with.

I'd have to second the Creed Boutique.

But, my opinion (and I'd welcome others more knowledgeable) is that with some of the older Creeds that aren't selling fast, everybody's stock is going to be older. I tend to guess they make most of these scents in batches, a bit like wine.

I would wonder how fast Vetiver '48, Bois du Portugal, Royal English Leather and some of the other older Creeds sell. As such, I would guess buying from the Creed Boutique isn't going to ensure you get a BdP that was made in '10.

The newer stuff, and the scents that sell well are probably rebottled regularly. GIT, SMW, MI, OS and OV for example are probably being produced all the time to meet demand.

Creedboutique is your best option. Congratulatons on the Green Valley. It's one of my all-time-best fragrance acquisitions. Highly likely you'll love it.

Parfums Raffy can and will take care of you as well.

Is it good buying Creeds off beautyencounter or amazon with their low prices? A 4.0 MI is only 110 with the 25% off on beautyencounters but would there be problems with batches and old bottles?

I'd like know about this more broadly, particularly for Himalaya. Would we be getting a fresh authentic product from any of the more popular online stores offering substantial discounts to RRP? Would it be wise to purchase a creed from such sites?
