Teach Us Something Useful --But

Do so in a dialect or accent!

Please, we get so bored here in the USA hearing the talking heads on TV from The President to news commentators speaking only the blandest mainstream of General American English.

(It gets to the point we hope something newsworthy happens in The Ozarks or The Bayou, just so we can hear some of the locals for a change)

Geez! The melting pot has melted some of our richest dialects via television

So, please post something useful:
How to crochet, grow marijuana, join the F.B.I, or get a proper shave--

Anything you like
But let's hear in a dialect or accent

I'll get the ball rolling with some instruction of a 19th century English art form:

Your Turn.

As first, I thought you'd written; 'get a proper slave'.
God knows, that I could use one or two more of those
on my estate, but they are so darn hard to get a hold
on these days ... one wonders!

The lovely Eddi Reader, with her gentle Scots burr, sings a Robbie Burns song.
The glasses push this into the irresistible category...

HOW TO TIE A WINDSOR

1. Break into Buckingham Palace
2. Kidnap a member of The Royal Family
3. Tie him up and take him to Australia
4. Issue a demand for a billion pounds

Otherwise

5. You'll make him watch not only this but countless other clips with an even stronger Aussie accent, AND you'll force him wear plaid to match this tie!

Truly a diabolical plan worthy of Dr. Evil.
Say, does anyone around here dress like Austin Powers?
Now THAT was understated class

Cheers,

Mario

I liked that one, Mario.
I do the Half Windsor, seems easier and (like countless guys) it is what my dad taught me.

That seemed like a fairly mild Aussie accent.

Is this a Brooklyn or New Jersey accent? Or is this guy Joe Pesci in disguise?

It is rather annoying after Welsh, isn't it?

Confound it! And i was going to ask everyone what new fragrances they were going to buy with their millions.
Curse you, YouTube!

Apropos of which: I'm not certain what she's teaching. How to sing from the heart? How to sing with the love of home in your heart?

However it must be profound because I can't understand one freakin' word she's saying.

But i understand every word she says when she sings

If you're into gardening, perennials etc, try Jerry Baker's Perennial books, I've had his one Perennials book for over 17 yrs now, I am always referring to it, one thing good about it is you don't need to spend a lot of money on the expensive fertilizers, pest sprays etc, you use things like plain old cheap shampoo (remember Octaogon) use tobacco juice ( I know it sounds horrible but...tobacco is in many of the store items) cheap beer and cheap dishliquid (no degreaser kinds) whiskey, vodka, I mix up a quart of parts of Octagon, Listerine mouth wash (original), tobacco juice, put this in a handheld sprayer you attach your hose to and spray, peroxide is used depending on what's bothering a plant ( I think the milky spore).

LOL Hillaire you wanted something new, I'm a person who likes my hands in the dirt, must be why I like Patchouli

Mario! You are bringing GIANTS (well, at least in my mind) to the table. Jung. Mein Gott! Incredible that we can see him speak. And dear Viktor Frankl explaining logotherapy. BTW, those are some pretty Hollywood glasses he's wearing!
