Yves Rocher Vanille Noire

From nstperfume.com:

Yves Rocher will launch Vanille Noire, a new fragrance for women in the the Secrets dEssences collection (see Voile dAmbre, Rose Absolue, Iris Noir, Tendre Jasmin).

Vanille Noire was developed by perfumer Jacques Cavallier, who has focused on the sensual aspects of vanilla rather than the gourmand angle. The notes include mandarin, mimosa, cedar and three varieties of vanilla.

Yves Rocher Vanille Noire will launch in September, and will be available in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum and 10 ml rollerball. Matching body products will also be sold.

This sounds interesting. I love YR's Voile d'Ambre, non-gourmand vanillas and Jacques Cavallier's work at YSL - can't wait!

Thanks Joe - one more to look forward to. Still wish they hadn't discontinued the Gardenia Pur Desir though.

This one I will buy blind - hope it will be available here in Norway once they launch it, too!

I will try this. Voile d'Ambre opens with mandarin, too, and it's great!

One plus for me to buy this one

Glad to hear that!

This sounds promising. The only Yves Rocher I have tried is Neonatura Cocoon and that's wonderful. It smells way more expensive than it is.

Has anyone tried VN, and if so, what is it comparable to? I prefer vanillas less on the gourmand side, so this definitely sounds promising. Of course, it's a relatively inexpensive blind buy, but I'd still love to hear about your experiences.

Yes, I'd like to hear back from the first person who tries it here, too. It sounds interesting.

I hope whoever springs to buy one would be up for a sample swap-I am not going to do blind buys anymore...I love a natural and well-balanced vanilla, but I am not satisfied with everything I've smelled from Yves Rocher, and I like to wait and buy used perfumes...

This sounds great! I like my vanillas balanced, with both foody and flower aspects, so this one may be a vanilla that i could add to my collection...
