I hope the Creed-heads are not gonna be offended by my story
So I got a 30 ml decant of Virgin Island Water. It's nice enough, but a little too bright and insistent on me, I don't get any coconut from it, but lots of candied lime. I knew I wasn't going to use all of the 30 mls, but I thought it could work as a clothing scent.
I mixed the Creed with a small cup of unscented fabric softener and let the washing machine do its thing. I liked the result well enough to dump 5-8 ml of the Creed into the big bottle of fabric softener. As long as I don't tumble dry, the scent stays with the clothes after the wash. It's mild enough not to interfere with my SOTD, the sweet lime seems just right for a detergent scent.
So I consider this an experiment gone right! When I've used up this bottle of softener I think I'm gonna try with some of the other scents I have, maybe Escale a Portofino could work. or A Scent (it bores me to tears, I need to get RID of that bottle). What about Mugler Cologne, or is that too meta
Anyone else been doing experiments like this?
